Amber colour. Slightly fruity hop aroma w some light crystal or biscuity malt character. Sweetish and a fair bit if crystal chewiness, along with a slightly earthy hop accent. Good pale, if a bit on the intense side.

Scopey 5K Tasting in deepest Croydonia. Thanks to Paul for another delve in to his stash. Clear gold - amber beer. Small bubbly white head. Palate is light and dry and slightly soft. Light airy pale malt. Good citric peel and orange marmalade. Grapefruit and a touch of lemon. Light finish. Satisfying.

Bottle shared at Scopey’s 5000th rate. Cheers to the host for a rare Scot find. Pours clear orange with a white head. Nose is tangy oranges, plenty of citrus fruits and limey zest. Taste is very tangy and dough forward with an orange and lime feel to it. Balanced and crisp. Sessionable stuff

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2014 Bottle at home. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is earthy, grainy, dough, must and toasted grass. The taste is doughy, crisp, bitter, grassy, earth, citrus peel, wood and pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. All comes together pretty well. Alright.

Where and how: Cask Days 2013
Aroma medium intense, slightly musky hop, tad bitter rawness. Semi dry feel that worked well in this case.
Appearance :
Top: medium plus top , rocky.
Base: poured as hazed amber gold.
Palate : medium bodied ale , smooth, drinkable. Lighter carbonation as per proper cask. Longer than average finish.
Taste: front accented with apple , toasty malts. Nice milder yet fairly present hop feel. Slight astringency on sides. .
Other notes nice brew.
