COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Belgian-style Wit, or “white” ale, is an unfiltered wheat beer brewed with traditional ingredients and a Highland twist. Wits are conventionally brewed with noble hops, pale malt, unmalted wheat, orange peel, and coriander. We have made this beer our own by adding other unique spices to create complex aromatics, a refreshing taste, and a crisp finish. Light in color with a smooth body, Razor Wit is perfect for hot summer days and sultry summer nights.

Bottle. Musty lemon peel, wheat malt and coriander aroma. Medium yellow with small head. Sweet tart lemon, coriander and mild wheat malt flavor. High carbonation. Not bad but very light.

Draft to taster. Looks decent; a very slightly hazy light gold with ample foamy white head. Smells wheaty with mild notes of orange and coriander. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Eh.

7/18/2013: Highland Razor Wit - Meh... Definitely not my style and on top of that, this one isn’t a great representation. Typically, a Belgian Wit has a noticable amount of orange and corriander, but this one was more like a light wheat beer with some lemon and a touch of spice (more like clove or cinammon rather than coriander). Even on a hot day after working out, this beer came across as a bit heavy (for the style) and wasn’t very refreshing. Thoroughly average, if not a bit less than that...

Draught at Habit’s Cafe in Cincinnati, Ohio. Rating #71 for this beer.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of DrSilverworm. Thanks! Pours a cloudy yellow appearance with a white head. Extremely spicy, coriander, very zesty, basil, wheat aroma. Somewhat tart, tangy citrus peel, coriander, sweet wheat flavor. A little all over the place.

Pours clear, light gold with a puffy white head. Taste is soft floral hop bitter over nearly tart lemon/citrus. A bit watery, but offset by a fairly strong citric acid tingle.

12 ounce bottle from ABC. Pours a hazy lemon yellow with a thin fizzy white head. Aroma of mild citrus and subtle pineapple with big spice notes and cracker. The taste is citrus, coriander, faint ginger, wheat and toasted notes. Medium bodied, high carbonation, refreshing. Well done.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate floral hop, citrus and yeast aroma. Medium body to a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium spice sweet flavor with a medium sweet citrus finish of an average duration. My expectations where met.
