This Belgian-style Wit, or “white” ale, is an unfiltered wheat beer brewed with traditional ingredients and a Highland twist. Wits are conventionally brewed with noble hops, pale malt, unmalted wheat, orange peel, and coriander. We have made this beer our own by adding other unique spices to create complex aromatics, a refreshing taste, and a crisp finish. Light in color with a smooth body, Razor Wit is perfect for hot summer days and sultry summer nights.

Straw yellow color with a short lived white head. Nose of old lemons with some vinegar. Flavors of bitter orange peel, coriander spice and some lemon cookie. Refreshing wit.

Spice, corriander, banana custard wheat, orange flavor. Solid Belgian wit through and through. On vacation to Atlantic Beach, NC, I found this at Food Lion. My wife is lounging around napping on this rainy day at the beach, while I sample these fine brews and watch Turner and Hooch on Comedy Central. Good times.

Tallahassee, Fl - New Leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Pours a very murky dark yellow with a quickly fading white head. Lemon and yeasty aroma, hint of cloves. Flavor has some clove accents, a trace of banana artificial flavor, a bit of bubble gum, some back end coriander. Mouthfeel has a decent spritz to it. Pretty solid.

Draft to taster. Looks decent; a very slightly hazy light gold with ample foamy white head. Smells wheaty with mild notes of orange and coriander. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Eh.

7/18/2013: Highland Razor Wit - Meh... Definitely not my style and on top of that, this one isn’t a great representation. Typically, a Belgian Wit has a noticable amount of orange and corriander, but this one was more like a light wheat beer with some lemon and a touch of spice (more like clove or cinammon rather than coriander). Even on a hot day after working out, this beer came across as a bit heavy (for the style) and wasn’t very refreshing. Thoroughly average, if not a bit less than that...

Draught at Habit’s Cafe in Cincinnati, Ohio. Rating #71 for this beer.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of DrSilverworm. Thanks! Pours a cloudy yellow appearance with a white head. Extremely spicy, coriander, very zesty, basil, wheat aroma. Somewhat tart, tangy citrus peel, coriander, sweet wheat flavor. A little all over the place.
