Did not like this beer. I didn't not find that it had a lot of favor. Snobbishness

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours clear, light gold with a puffy white head.
Taste is soft floral hop bitter over nearly tart lemon/citrus.
A bit watery, but offset by a fairly strong citric acid tingle.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate floral hop, citrus and yeast aroma. Medium body to a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium spice sweet flavor with a medium sweet citrus finish of an average duration. My expectations where met.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle, filled 6/11/13. Totally hazy, lightly paler dandelion yellow color. Few loose dots of lace. Nice belgian-yeasty nose, nice light spice and orange peel in the aroma. Moderate sweet taste, lightly zesty, kind of spicy. Light body, a little thin. Lighter but kind of sharp carbonation, more dry finish. Not a fan of this one. There are many other better choices that aren’t too hard to find. Not bad, though.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a hazy yellow from the bottle with thin white cap that leaves moderate lace. Typical Belgian wit aroma and taste, wheat, yeast, spice and citrus esters. Solid, well done for the style.

On tap. Pours hazy straw yellow with small white head. Aromas of coriander, lemon, little floral hop note, and light banana. Flavors of coriander, lemon, wheat, and very light hop note. Body and carbonation is nice. I have come to appreciate a nice wit over the years.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Total Wine, Durham. Cloudy pale golden pour, medium head and pretty lively carbonation. Spicy, yeasty aroma, kind of raw is the impression I get. Flavors are a bit more what one expects from an American wit, defaulting to clove and orange, etc. If anything, Highland’s take ends up being a bit sweeter than usual, which is strange given the impression the aroma gives. Forgettable.
