Bottle from Total Wine, Durham. Cloudy pale golden pour, medium head and pretty lively carbonation. Spicy, yeasty aroma, kind of raw is the impression I get. Flavors are a bit more what one expects from an American wit, defaulting to clove and orange, etc. If anything, Highland’s take ends up being a bit sweeter than usual, which is strange given the impression the aroma gives. Forgettable.

Bottle. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus and apricots. Light body with notes of coriander and citrus balanced with light wheat flavors. Has a nice clean finish.

Bottle--pours a hazy yellow with a small, white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is of soft banana washed over with wheat, the tastes follows with some spice on the finish. Ingles mixed pack.

Bottle. Cloudy gold color, decent head. Smells, slightly spicy, some hay. Taste is some clove. Kind of watery.

Bottle shared by Dogbrick at Septoberfest V: Septoberfest Rises on 9/29/12. Pours clear yellow with a medium white head. Malty aroma with slight esters. Malty flavor with some esters and lemony character before a crisp finish.

Poured hazy golden with a smaillish head. Citris aroma with a nice coriander spice. One of my favorite Belgan whites.

This beer is a slightly hazed golden color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily. Spotty lacing. Aroma of wheat and citrus. Light body with a lightly bitter herbal hops character and notes of pale malt and citrus. The finish is short with a sweet toasted malt and spice aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Bottle: The aroma consists of banana, coriander, and a touch of lemon. It pours a mostly transparent golden-orange with a small white head that quickly fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with a quick dose of citrus and faint banana. There are some faint grain notes in the background. The finish has light coriander and lemon grass. It’s light bodied with moderate and somewhat soft carbonation.

Bottle. Poured golden with a creamy white head. Faint aroma of citrus. The flavor found orange, wheat, and light spice. Light body and crisp.

Strong, sharp, spicy aroma has fruity and wheaty notes, promising a flavorful beer. It pours a clear, bright solar yellow with a decent, if not thick, white head that leaves minimal lacing. Mouth-filling flavor has firm spicy (mainly cloves and coriander), wheaty and citrus notes plus hints of hops and butterscotch. Lively texture has about average body and plenty of fizz. Lip-smacking and very tasty, refreshing after a summer scorcher.
