The aroma is a light amount of spice and some traces of Cascadesque citrus. Taste is nice juicy sweet malt, a touch of caramel, some citrus from the hops and a lingering finish which is just an invitation for more. Medium bodied, not overpowering on the hop front, eminiently drinkable.

Interesting but a little too hoppy for the style perhaps and at the same time with some smooth features too.

This one seems all victory malt and I like it. A malty smelling and tasting pale ale.

Apple juice color, medium carbonation with white bubbly head. Aroma is apple and wood chips. Starts apple juice (almost cider) into slight bitter from start to middle of light wood hops. Sweet apple end. Aftertaste lingering wood chips gentle bitter hops. Very drinkable if on the sweet side.

Nice and crisp on the palate, but lacking some of the complex character of other pales, this is nonetheless a nice, subtly citrusy ale

Very drinkable. Good malt backbone that supports the firm hop flavor well. Finishes clean and refreshing. I’d order a second.

Pours a clear golden yellow with a minimal white head. Faint hops in the nose but rather weak. The taste is pretty bland for an APA, nothing offensive, but nothing really worth noting. Decent offering and these seem like a pretty good session brew, but it’s not the best from Highland.

Pint pour of deep gold not quite copper ale with full finger white head. Nose is a moderate mix of hops and malt, not quite over powering or fantastic. Flavor is also in the middle of the road and not overwhelming. Slightly hoppier than malt on the mouth, but meh. Lighter body with good lacing. Not bad, and sessionable, but not fantastic.
