Cask at craft beer co clerkenwell. Clear golden orange coloured pour with a lasting off white cap of head. Aroma is composed of sweet honey, floral, lemon hop, grainy, peach and lychee. Flavour is composed of sticky sweet, grainy toast, earthy hop, watetmellon and peach Palate is semi sweet, lowish carbonation. Lingering back of the throat hop bitterness. But too sweet.

Cask at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. Lovely fruity hop aroma, some nectarine, peach, melon. Medium sweet flavor with slight minerality, some orange, pale bread, light oily pine. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation; good carbonation. Nicely balanced finish with moderate pale malt sweetness, slight bitter hay, minerals, citrus. Good stuff.

Cask @ Southern, Edinburgh. Amber colour, medium carbonation. Typical British style IPA. Between a bitter and an IPA. Notes of caramel and tropical fruit, bitter hoppy finish. Ok.

Cask@the blackcountry arms, walsall. Slow settling golden amber beer with medium creamy head and patchy lacing. Aroma is hoppy with tangerine and citrus. Taste is orange pith, tangerine, juicy and a little sweetness in the finish. Medium bodied and chewy. Excellent, my sort of IPA, soft fruity flavours without all the pine resin.

Pale golden beer with the odd bubble and a decent foamy head. There’s a touch of bitter fruit in the aroma but it’s mostly caramel. The flavour is interestingly balanced. There’s a decent grapefruit-y, bitter fruit element but the malts aren’t blown out by it meaning there’s a balancing malty, biscuity touch. The aftertaste IS mostly the citrus but that’s no bad thing. It’s obvious that they’ve made an effort to balance this carefully and it’s worked. Very nice.
