Cask at The Hillsborough Hotel, Sheffield, ’The Peoples Republic of South Yorkshire’ on the Valley of Beer Day 16-08-08 Once again the pumpclip wasn’t totally clear on the origins of this beer, but the barman assured me that this like the ’Ding, Dong’ was an Highwood beer from Lincs. For the second time I’m unsure whether this should be under Highwood Landlady or Tom Wood Landlady. Poured hazy light amber (served too cold) some creamy vanilla on the nose fruit in the mouth, some light fruity maly flavours show more when warmed up, but once again a far from decent pint although marginally more interesting than the ’Ding Dong’
