A Spanish Bock, or an Amber Lager, or a Vienna Lager. Whatever it is, it is very refreshing and tasty.

Bottled ; The aroma is flaky and makes u assume this beer is also gonna be a ’wars-of-tim’.. I appreciate the flavour and palate - there is something rustic and charming about this humble lager -despite it being a little soulless ..the kinda malty lager U could stumble on in an obscure Spanish town where the brewers are aspirational but lacking finesse . A nice treacle caramel texture offered on my palate ... earthy muddy kinda chewy malts / not bad stuff.

more malty, less smooth. Ok. Amber color. Mainstream, what I expected. Blah.

smells mildly coffeeish, drank straight from the bottle but its gold we know that, taste is actually quite smooth with a lingering refreshing wateryness, does that make sense? been a heavy weekend!

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2015 It’s the best of Hijos de Rivera’s beers. More tasty than Estrella Galicia. My favourite spanish industrial lager.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear medium amber with a full beige head cover, thin streaks of lace. Aroma of malt and maybe a little corn(?). Taste is malt that grows sweeter as it enters the palate, then adding mild floral hops on the swallow, both sides glide through a short finish. Reasonably good.
