2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Found a can of this in my parents fridge leftover from a party. Looks like a pale lager, but the aroma is a bit maltier with some hop character. Flavor was pretty good because it had some hops. Almost an average body if not just a little watery. Wasnít too bad.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pale Lager month installment number 29: The great thing about this specific can of Hiland Lager is that I got it as a single from a Kum & Go and it has a layer of pink sticky iced cream that melted all over the side of the can. The beer pours a light golden color with a semi loose white head that fizzes away slowly. The aroma is soapy and a tad sweet with some citrus and mild corn. The flavor is again a tad citrus-like with a bit of soapiness, clean all around with only the mildest corn flavor. The beer is not dry but itís not sweet either. Boring but by all means drinkable.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can from a Kum & Go 12 pack. The body was deep gold with a thin white head. The nose has white bread and raw potato. There is also a little hay. The taste has lots of bread crust with raw potato. There is also a little bit of celery in the finish. Decent for the style and really cheap. Sweet, but at least it isnít a corn bomb.
