COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
A pale ale, light and refreshing on the palate but with a satisfying mellow hop character derived from a judicious blend of aromatic Saaz hops.

Cask conditoned - gravity dispense - Peterborough BF. A gold to copper coloured beer. The aroma has some light hop but is too thin. The taste is weak and watery. A touch of hop hiding away but it’s very dull.

8th August 2008. On tap at GBBF. Clear gold beer. Manages to have a dry palate but still feel watery. A light hop touch, then water and a dry finish! Not much going on here!

Cask at GBBF08. Strange marcipan aroma. Clear golden colour. Small frothy white head. Good fruity flavour. Balanced off by a little rough hoppiness, but there is also a little sweetness.

Cask conditioned at Harbury Beer Fest ’08. Pale gold with thin white head. Very thin beer to the point of tastelessness. Lightly hopped, quite watery and a touch pointless, however; there is nothing off about it either. Boring.

Clear golden with medium white head. Sweet aroma with fruity notes and hints of flowers. Sweet flavor with fruit and floral hops. Discrete bitter finish.

Cask @ Easter Beer Festival, Franciscan Well. Light clear bronze colour with a medium head. Floral hoppy aroma. Malty caramel flavour initially, with a dry bitter finish. Medium to firm body. Pretty good.

Cask at Tilley’s, Newcastle. This wasn’t nearly as bad as some had at the GBBF; however, it wasn’t particularly special. The palate is fizzy for a real ale and the dominant flavour is sweet, almost cloying, with a hint of citrus.

Cask @ GBBF 2007. Pours a clear pale golden color with a small white head. Fruity malty hoppy aroma with some hints of citrus. Sweet malty fruity hoppy flavor with some hints of citrus. Malty and slightly fruity finish. Seems i got a sample of the better cask aswell.

(Cask at GBBF, London, 9 Aug 2007) Golden yellow colour with brief white head. Fruity nose with dusty hops and hints of citrus. Fruity taste with mellow notes of citrus, apricots and dusty hops in the finish. Drinkable but hardly exciting (seems I had a better cask than most at the festival).

Cask @ GBBF 2007, London. Yellow color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, sour, skunked ... bad ... Flavor is light sweet and acidic with a short duration. Body is light, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. :o(
