Pours golden with gentle bubbles and a decent head. The nose has a gentle blood orange or pink grapefruit note. The taste has lemon zest and lemon cough sweets. The palate shows a medium body, a medium-thick tangy texture and a clean zesty finish. Overall, a lovely balanced and quite individual pale ale.

This was a gift from a good pal of mine who brought some back from Belfast for me. This was a bit of a slow burner for me and certainly opened up the further down the glass I went. It pours a very light yellow, lager colour with a very small head. I definitely picked up banana bread with pretty good carbonation. I did find it very "watery" however and wouldn’t normally be a massive fan of such. That said it didn’t disappoint.

Bottle (500ml) shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o garthicus. Pours a clear pale gold with an average size diminishing fizzy white head. Aroma of light UK hops, some sugary sweetness, grain, honey and a hint of fruit and spices. Flavour of light hops, honey, sweet malt, grain and a short, sweet, bitter finish -- a bit too sweet for me. Light to average bodied. Not bad, just O.K.

500ml bottle shared by garthicus with me and blankboy. Light amberish gold with a tiny fizzy drool of white head - clear. Aroma is pear, wildflower, and oddly, white pepper ... I stand corrected: cloves. Taste follows - bitter, and way more of that pepper/clove sharpness, tries to be sweet. Thin, watery, vaguely carbonated, quite lacking in any body, just leaves an earthy/peppery dry aftercoating. Ehhhh.

Bottle at Bittles Bar in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Average beer...some hoppiness, some thin grassy notes...merely average. Poured a nice golden yellow with a white head.

Pours a golden straw yellow with a 1.5 finger white head that isn’t retained for long. Leaves some lacing as it goes down, but not much.
Not much aroma really-light hops, bread, biscuit, and malts.
Tastes slightly bitter with hints of hops and malts. Nothing really dominant or overpowering.
Goes down fairly smooth and light with a decent carbonation. Not too full.
Overall, it is a nice Irish twist on an English/Irish Pale Ale, but nothing particularly special that I would go out of my way to try again.
