cask & bottle, regular This beer has was originally brewed exclusively for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival and is an Irish pale ale. It has a medium-bodied character and good bitterness, complementing the full hop flavour which lingers on the palate and in the aroma

On tap at The Bar With No Name, pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Nose is light, with some floral notes. Flavour is very floral, with loads of flowery and almost minty qualities. Pretty interesting and drinkable. Nice stuff.

500ml bottle. Pours a clear medium gold, with a white head. Hoppy, malty aroma, caramel, orange peel, resin. Off-dry, medium bodied, mid to high bitterness, balanced CO2. Hoppy, malty taste, resin, caramel, citrus, earth, hints of something like rye. Quite good, rustique. (2014-07-24)

Bottle, thanks to Cuso. Aroma gives me the impression of old hops. Clear yellow to golden colour, poor head. Taste is not good, astringent, sourish. Hard to perceive anything beyond that. I did not like this. For the love of hops I do not understand how are my notes so different from others’, but I will leave them as is, since it was 2 months ago. Hot candidate for a rerate someday.

Bottle. My first from this brewery. Orange appearance that’s quite clear. Small head and slightly hoppy flavour which was less than xpected .Some fruitiness and well bottled. A pleasant first beer.

[5997-20131020] Cask. Mild leafy hops aroma. Slightly hazy, orange brown body with a long-lasting foamy white head. Bitter leafy hops flavour. Medium body. Good, sessionable. (7/3/7/3/15) 3.5
