COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
his beer has been brewed exclusively for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival and is an Irish pale ale. It has a medium-bodied character and good bitterness, complementing the full hop flavour which lingers on the palate and in the aroma

Hand pulled cask at the Crosse Keys (JDW) Monument, London. Clear gold with a lively white head, in the peak of fresh condition. Lovely fresh hops, the Galaxy really shining through. Clean fresh malt and hops all round. So drinkable!

Looks weak but has superb hoppy characteristics in its taste. Very drinkable.

Crosse Keys Spoons. Clear gold beer. Residual white head. Light dry palate. Moderate carbonation. Nice sweet and bitter hops! Some aniseed in the background. Tropical fruits in the foreground, mango and others, fruity! Then a bitter pine kick. Finishes semi dry. Tasty and highly drinkable.

The Standing Order, Derby, 29/11/11. Slim white halo on orange gold. Watery aroma hinting at satsuma peel, a little carsick (spellcheck for cardamom, but I’m sticking with carsick). Weak after the Brewsters; earthy orange and coriander-like spice, heady without malt back up. Possibly very old.

Wetherspoons middlesbrough. Beer was in top notch condition. Grapefruit and lime flavours predominate. Wonderfully refreshing. One of the best in the fest.

Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold to amber with white head. At last, the Spoons Fest is really coming to town, light hoppy dry bitter, quite lemony and grapefruit skin, fresh (surprisingly) and nicely refreshing. My best Northern Ireland beer to date.

I went from having Titanic Fit Out thinking that was good to this, this was probably the best golden coloured of the festival. Big powerful hoppiness to it, plenty of flavour, lingers well, golden coloured ale with a small head, very drinkable indeed.

Cask-conditioned at the Van Dyck forum (JDW), Bristol 22/10/2011. deep gold with a slight off-white head. Tropical fruit and citrus aroma. Flavour had more fruit, some creamy malts and a hoppy, dry finish. Enjoyable.

Cask at the Greyhound (JDW), Maidenhead. Straw with a thin white head; attractive peachy aroma; crisp with some citrus and some light tropical fruit flavours; the a pleasant fruity finish with good underlying bitter hops.

Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW, London. Pours clear, rich gold with a fine, white head. Has a bit of bread and tangy citrus on the nose. Light sweet flavor, nutty, with bits of toast, lime, sugar and wet grass. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Mild sweet finish, slightly sticky, with some tangy sweetness and ripe citrus. Alright.
