4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Growler drank at the cabin, NH. Pours lightly cloudy gold with a fine, white foam head. Absolutely gorgeous aroma of cat pee, fresh grass, nips of zesty citrus. Light to medium sweet flavor, dry and zippy citrus, pithy citrus, orange, grapefruit, dry grass. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately dry to finish, more pithy citrus, tangerine, grapefruit, light grassy hops, touches of lemon rind. Obscenely drinkable. The balance is perfect. Thereís some excellent hop kick. Unreal good. I donít know what else to say.

Cloudy white gold with a finger white head. Yeasty grassy aroma. Light and easy drinking with just a touch of hop. Sessionable is an understatement. Wow!

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
On tap at my house. Hazy golden-straw in appearance with a robust long lasting white frothy head. The aroma holds a variety of hop facets, each of which plays very nicely with the others. Dank piney herbals lead to juicy nectar fruit and vibrant tropical fruit. Very fresh and bright, capturing the individual hop character of each respective variety, while simultaneously providing a union that is more delicious than the constitutive parts. The body of the beer is quite full given the abv, even to the point of drinking like a light bodied ipa. There are literally no major flavors to obstruct the hops, which is amazing if youíre into that sort of thing. Caressing pillowy carbonation provides excellent texture, while the finish remains very dry and crisp. With all the super extreme styles being brewed these days, this provides an amazingly welcoming experience. I wish more brewers undertook refinement of low alcohol beer, as it truly is among the most difficult style to do exquisitely well. Hatís off to this collaboration, for it certainly accomplishes that goal.

Yellow grassy color. Crisp and very fresh sugar and candy aroma. Surprisingly light flavor, dry and a little sweet. Felt not flavorful enough at first but turned out to be a very rewarding and rich session beer. The balance is a bit off. Medium/full body with a grassy finish. Perfect for a sunny autumn day.

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
UPDATED: JUN 7, 2016 750mL growler filled 4/29/16 and drunk 5/4/16.
Thoroughly hazy, though not soupy, soft, peachy-gold body is topped by a white head showing strong retention.
Very dry nose yields fresh, clean water and minerality, with light fruitiness very slowly building up from the hops. Amazingly, the simcoe add no pine/cherry and just a touch of juicy grapefruit. Amarillo add woodsy and softly citric character while motueka adds its very similar character (leafy, green, lightly vegetal, soft citrus and nectarine). Crackers and whitebread in the background stay out of the way of the hops which continue to crescendo with warming and breathing, eventually ending with juicy nectarine, peach and lemon, and a light smattering of honey.
Incredibly dry (but with an ample, malty texture and tight carbonation) in the flavor with a bare cracker-like maltiness. Hops are incredibly well-controlled adding only modest bitterness and absolutely no resin. Hints of key lime and grapefruit rind are the extent, with plentiful yellow fruit and woody, leafy, vegetal (not spoiled vegetal, but a good vegetal. Like fresh, live, vibrant vegetation). Supremely delicate and phenomenally well-executed.
Catches you off guard. At first it seems a bit light (which it is) but then 10 minutes later Iím saying, "Holy shit thatís good".

On tab from keg purchased at Hill Farmstead. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Floral and citrus aroma. Crisp taste with a hoppy middle and malty finish. Great session beer.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tap and growler. Awesome big super juicy hop aroma of pineapple, green grapes, oranges. Very fresh tasting. Taste is crisp refr eshing pineapple, melon, toast. Closest thing to gumball head ive ever tasted, but a bit juicier, more complex than gummed ball head. Just about the perfect session beer. Could go for the a few kegs of this bad boy. A little to good to be sure. Good candidate for a "desert island" beer.

UPDATED: MAY 21, 2016 On draft at Proletariat. Excellent session IPA. A little citrusy sourness, grassy hops a fine floral aroma. Fresh and delicious. This has the right amount of everything - who wouldnít like this? Iíll go out on a limb a little and call it the best session IPA Iíve ever tasted. Hats off to HF. This explains why people will drive for hours to a little place called Greensboro for some of their beers

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
750mL flip-top big thanks to Ed5388. Beautiful glowing peach pour with rocky, meringue foam. Nose is beautiful sweet cream butter (Hill Farmstead house yeast), soft butterscotch, peaches&cream ice cream, juicy cantaloupe, whipped cream. As it warms, a flash of exotic/pithy tropical melon comes through (Motueka I assume). Taste is juicy, rich butterscotch is a flavor but not a density. Floats on the tongue with mega buoyancy. Super soft bitterness is not the main character here- juicy hops and tropical fruit are 90% with the remaining a soft bitterness. Soft and refreshing rather than abusive. Slick, soft butteriness on the palate is exactly what I am after. A big improvement over tannic astringency or chemical soap. Exactly the APA I was hoping this would be and much more. A perfect hop combo of some of my favorites, especially Amarillo. Wow. This is the entire purpose of the APA style- delicacy, bright hoppiness, refreshing body unlike IPAs which are bitter for no reason and heavy in mouthfeel. This is the session beer we all should be demanding. I will be dreaming of this beer.
