Anna (1902 - ? ) was our grandfather’s sister; Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to her and her 13 siblings. In her honor, this Honey Saison is crafted from American malted barley, European and American hops, Vermont wildflower honey, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. Unfiltered and naturally carbonated, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Anna. 6.5% ALC/VOL 14º P Ingredients: Pale Malt, American and European Hops, Vermont Wildflower Honey, Ale Yeast, and our Well Water.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2016 On tap at the Hill Farmstead Farmhouse Ales Festival 2012, VT. Pours cloudy yellow with a sturdy, frothy white head. Gorgeous nose, rife with lemon, fresh hay and barnyard notes. Flavor is delightful, with plenty of lightly tangy citrus, mellow dough, decent sweetness - perhaps a touch more sweetness than some other HF saisons. Medium bodied with smooth, massaging carbonation. Clean, refreshing finish, more tangy lemon and other citrus, very faint funk, hay, a little bit of yeast. Delicious beer. Outstanding.
