Draught at the Festival of Farmhouse Ales. Beautiful orange-gold with a thick, fine head. Funky brett nose, citrus, a little yogurt, barnyard, just lovely. A really nice sour tanginess, light, good sweetness, good balance, grapefruit and lemon, a little spice. Really light, full, fabulous.

Sharply tart, with bright pangs of sweet-sour citrus throughout; very herbal, and dry; lots of great zesty/dusty character owing to a thoroughly perfect blending of yeasts, barrel, and hops. Palate is mouth puckering; not quite enough body or rounding; still, really lovely.

On tap at the 2012 Hill Farmstead Festival of Farmhouse Ales. What a way to start to start a festival! Love the big, fluffy booming cotton and grapefruit Brett aroma. Such a strong and pleasant sensation. The ultradry powdery texture keeps it fresh and lively and carries the flavors through well. Refreshing, complex and elegant. Champagne-like.

Bottle pours a hazy golden/yellow with a huge white head. Aroma of lemon zest, grass, wine, oak, funk, and yeast spice. Taste is light and bitter tart, lemon grass, barn yard funk, pineapple, straw, wine grapes, dry with a light yeast spice. Everything is balanced perfectly, light, dry, and refreshing. Yum!

Bottles. Hazy golden color with loads of lacing. Fucking right! Loads of Brett in the aroma. Yeasty, fruity character. Smells lovely. God I wish I hadnít drank so much lately. Nice and dry. Pineapple, spice, and pretty acidic. Itís good, but maybe Iím missing what makes this unbelievable.

750 ml shared at Toochís tasting. Thanks, buddy. Batch 2. Pours a richly deep hazed golden hue, a bit dulled, deep and hazy with big cakey whitish head that laces well. Thick rich film. Laces well. Big hazy hue. Aromas are richly citrusy and fruity, a touch of spice, gentle yeast, bready malts, touches of straw. Initial is medium bodied, offering gentle spice and yeast, gentle fruit, apple and melon, mixes with touches of pear, gentle yeast and spice. Middle offers some sweetness, bready and doughy malt with fruity ester elements, touches of crab apple, lemon. Touches of citrus, dry florals, gentle oak with a kiss of winey oak. Backend and finish offers a touch of tartness, green apple, with gentle yeast, spice, and bready malts. Some gentle elements. Solid beer, but not my favorite out of the series.

Picked this up at the bottle release a few months back. Stored at 60 Degrees then placed it in the fridge an hour before serving. Enjoyed in a Hill Farmstead glass with friends.

A - Bright golden orange with lots of haze. 4-finger solid white head with tight bubbles

S - Itís really nice on the nose. Very floral and grassy. Mild level of lemon zest and oakiness.

T - Taste is up front very citrusy and a mild level of peppery spice. Hints of lemons and cloves. Finish is tart and somewhat funky.

M - 60% carbonation on the mouth swish. Light body. Tart finish.

O - Art is easily twice as good as Arthur but I gave Arthur a big rating I certainly canít double the rating so Iím just gonna give it the best I can.
