4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750ml bottle. Faintly cloudy gold with a medium head, and nice spotty lacing. It’s got a bright nose with an unexpected youthful tartness, plenty of earthy yeast and spice. Hops are more evident in the taste, along with a fantastic spice/tartness interface that’s tough as hell to pull. Something fragrant and almost buttery (though in no way diacetyl) warms the core, absolutely fantastic stuff overall.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
750ml bottle. Gushed, hate that. Pours a clear gold with some frothy, white head. Nose is fairly mild, grassy, honey, hay, lots of esters though, banana, a little hand soap. Flavor is sweet, grass, hay, light honey, some light white bread. Lightly watery, clean finish. A fine saison, but I know they do better.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nose of rare hay herb and musty pontificating douches. Gold pour thin head. Flavors of lemon acidity herb and dusty. A little funky. Rare. 6 people here creamed their pants upon opening.

The beverage has a nice carbonation. The aroma has noticeable fruit, yeast, hop, and grain notes. I am able to taste lemon, yeast, sugar, hops, and barley. Overall a nice refreshing drink that is very kind to the palate.

Sampled at Rories house. Hazy golden with a big fluffy white head. A big funky brett aroma with malts. The brett is huge. Not a lot of complexity but the brett carries it.
