COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Arthur (1922-2005) was our grandfather’s youngest brother; Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to him and his 13 siblings. In his honor, this Saison is crafted from American malted barley, American and European hops, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. Unfiltered and naturally carbonated, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Arthur. 6% Alc/Vol 13ºPlato

Bottle shared by Levi! Thanks man! Pour is a slightly hazy light straw gold, with a white head a great lacing. Aroma is wet wheat, lots of citrus, slightly funky, a fair bit of yeast character. Light floral hop character. Taste is light lemon, other citrus, fair amount of cracker malt, very nice, refreshing beer. Fair bit of floral and bitter hop character. Could drink a lot of this!

Pours a cloudy light yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma funky, yeasty, and bready; a lot going on. Lemon peel sourness, with a flavor like chewing a stalk of hay. Finishes bright and effervescent.

Early in the day at HMOG 2014. Long slow gusher attests to the carbonation and hints at the dryness you get with this one. Lots of bubbles adding to the texture of the drink. Funky earthy wild aroma is really nice. Smooth light and toasty grain flavors. Grassy herbal hop flavors with a touch of toasted wheat. Herbal tea flavors as well wtih a little bit of pepper spice.

HMOG 2014. Thanks jrob21. Light hay, mellow lemon, grassy, light refreshing tart, a bit of funk and spice. Real refreshing, highly carbed. It was one of those slow gushers. Awesome stuff.

Beautiful cloudy yellow color, effervescent yet nearly opaque. A bit rustic in the nose, with the palate lending to a more tart lemony and yeasty character. Another excellent HF saison offering.

Pours a beautiful hay color with a decent white head. Smells like a bouquet of lemons and yeast. Tastes glorious! So yeasty and sour. Brett isn't overpowering, but is a very nice addition.

Bottle at the Triad bottle share at Foothills organized by Mike. Hazy pale gold pour. Nice blend of both citrus juiciness and bready notes in the nose. Lovely flavor with soft but juicy pineapple and orange rind balance by rye bread and coriander. Full and almost frothy mouthfeel despite being thin and crisp. Yeasty finish. Refined, delicate, tried and true Hill Farmstead. Really good.

Bottle thanks to Seth. Pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy white head that lasts leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong citrus, lemon zest, yeast, and brett. Medium mouthfeel with strong yeast, light citrus, with lingering brett flavor. Refreshing and easy to drink, very impressive.

Bottle. Golden pour with white head. Spice, yeast, tropical fruit aromas. Flavor is super fresh with Brett, fruit and nice complexity.
