COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed (with help from our great friend Jean of Tired Hands!) on the day of my grandmother’s passing (Norma), this is an inspired Biere de Mars fermented entirely in oak and inoculated with our house spontaneous culture.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2014 Bottle big thanks to Thomas. It pours hazy golden amber with a thick white head. The nose is soft, doughy, woody, white wine, wood, damp leaf, orange muffin, light vinegar and mild spice. The taste is tart, woody, vinous, damp leaf, wood, must, some acidity, fruit cake, gooseberry, sponge cake and light metallic notes with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice depth, but a touch musty and acidic. Not sure how much I could drink of this, but it’s nice in small measures.
