Bottle split with mcberko - growler from glouglouburp. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. The aroma is incredibly fresh, with loads of tropical fruits, resin, and piney hops. Flavour is very fruity, tropical, pine, caramel malts, with an oily, buttery bitter hop finish. Leaves somewhat of an earthy aftertaste. Fresh, light, full bodied, oily smooth and bitter. Amazing.

750mL growler, sent from my man Glouglouburp (thanks Dany!), pour a beautiful cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma screams tropical fruits (mango, pineapple, tangerine), grapefruit, loads of resinous and piney hops, balanced by sufficient caramel malt. Flavour is intensely flavourful, with mounds of tropical fruits (as mentioned), orange / grapefruit rind, loads of citrusy, resinous and piney hops, and lots of caramel malt to balance, offering a perfect amount of sweetness to counterbalance the intense fruitiness and hoppiness. Finishes fruity and hoppy, with a bit of earthy character and sort of an oily feel. Once again, Hill Farmstead have churned out an amazing double IPA. This is just delicious.

750ml growler courtesy of ernesto, thank you! very delicious beer here. something about seans iipas makes them drink like pale ales, incredibly light and drinkable. this is no exception. seems like maybe half the abv when you taste it. drinks with the best like alpha king, but its over 9%!!! pours a cloudy prangish yellow with a dense cascading head that leaves nice lacing and skimming. i delicious aroma, hoppy, slightly funky too, you can tell it was made at the farmstead. crisp and musty, bright and dusty, this beer is trusty.

Draft at Capone’s. Poured turbid gold with white head and a lot of carbonation. Nose was intense resiny hops, tropical citrus, including tangerine, pineapple, and quite a bit of funk. Tasted rich, extremely complex, with big flavors of tropical citrus fruit, piney hops, some funk, and a very complex finish. This one is delicious.

On tap at TND with Pat, pours a cloudy straw orange, small white hjead, awesome lacing. Aromas and taste of pineapple, piney hops, lightly roasted grains, pineapple, caramel malt, bitter somewhat dry finish. Easy going for 9.2%. All around amazing beer.

750 mL growler sent by Tucker, shared with my father. Pours a milky, cloudy golden orange color with a massive, frothy white head. Light carbonation with a retentive, bubbly finger thick layer throughout and dry, sticky webs of lacing. Creamy orange and pine aroma, with light vanilla. Balance of sweet and bitter leaning more toward the juicy orange and creamy sweet, than bitter pine and resin. Flavor is dominated by hops, but nowhere near as bitter as Abner or Ephraim, instead more juicy and sweet. There is a vanilla-like, creamsicle quality to the flavor which balances out the orange, red grapefruit and tangerine juiciness. Mild resin in the finish, but still pleasantly sweet. Fairly thick and robust body with moderate carbonation; more creamy than chewy. Could use a little more bitterness and crispness in the flavor and finish, but this is exceptionally drinkable and refreshing and drinks much easier than the 9.2% ABV would suggest.

On tap at Capone’s. Poured a golden color with a smaller sized head. Aromas of citrus, floral hops, pineapples, and just all around nice hoppiness. Tastes of the same nice hoppiness with the alcohol content hidden. Lighter caramel.

On tap at the brewery. Epic hazy orange pour with a tight foam white head. Huge orange citrus, grapefruit, and herbal dankness gives way to a malt character that can only be likened to the worlds most delicious rice cakes. Epic thick rich palate with creamy soft effervescence. Epic.
