[Draft @ brewery] Orange color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruits, melon, tangerine, citrus, pine, and floral hoppiness. Taste of citrus, orange, melon, some grass, pine, and a fair amount of bitterness in the finish. Lots of fruit in this hop.

Tap at hf anniver. Party. Aroma of dank, resiny hop bitterness. Pine needles. Hop forward, abrasive resiny hop bite that lingers on the pallet. Some dry rustic grass. Dry. Nice, tasty beer. Prefer a bit more balance, a touch too bitter.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 oteyj (1939) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 27, 2012
On tap at the Hill Farmstead 2nd Anniversary party. Hazy orange-gold pour with a lively white frothy head. The nose has all the qualities I know and love from citra- juicy nectar fruits, tropical fruits, and citrus fruits. Big mango and papya lead to mandarin, apricot, orange peel, and peach. Hints of herbal dankness in the background. Medium body with pillowy caressing effervescence and a crisp citrusy finish. Another masterful single hop creation. In terms of single hop IPAs from Hill Farmstead, this and Summit are some of my personal favorites.

Flip top growler from joeybones3. Thanks, man! This pours a hazy golden color with a thin white head. Big tropical fruit aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, and mango. Some caramel eventually sneaks in there for the malt presence. Quite floral and tropical fruity tasting, with fresh-cut grass mixing in, along with some bitter citrus peel. Dry and clean in the finish. Hoppy but not incredibly bitter. With the relatively low abv this is extremely refreshing and drinkable. A very good beer that probably just stops short of being amazing.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 orangesol (323) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 17, 2011
Served on-tap at Capone’s into a sampler glass.
A - Pours cloudy, murky, orange with a nice pillowy one finger white head leaving sticky spots of lacing down the glass.
S - Now we are talking! I let this baby sit for over an hour and it still had a HUGE citric hop punch up front, so damn intoxicating. Lots of grapefruit and other tropical fruits meld well with the sweet caramel malt. A simply amazing nose on this one.
T - Lots of strong grapefruit, from the hops, up front giving way quickly to a mix of sweet caramel malt and strong citric hops. Finish is caramel sweet with some lingering bitterness from the hops and dryness from the yeast. There is no doubt in my mind that I am a sucker for citra hops. This has been one of the best citra hop IPA’s I have had to date.
M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Feel is very nice with plenty of bitter hops. Finish is bitter with a bit of dryness. Nothing too mind blowing in this department.
D - Very high. I think I could literally drink this all day. One of the best smelling IPA’s I have had in quite some time. The taste was a bit of a letdown but it was still very good. I really enjoyed this one quite a bit. Excellent stuff for sure.
