COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A blend of Arthur from Summer and Vera Mae from May (!) aged together in a barrel that previously held another Hill Farmstead beer. Barrel type non-specific (our intention) - but French Oak and Wine.

Bottle at friday’s tasting from a trade with jedwards. Pours hazy light yellow with a small white head. Lots of fruitiness in the aroma - citrus, canteloupe, pineapple, green apples, lovely symphony of esters going on, a bit of oak and slight funk, and a nice edge of noble hops, too. Very nice aroma, deliciously fruity and saison estery. The taste is bright and clean, though rather bitter. Oranges, citrus, a lot of pineapple, oak barrel, slightly, very slightly funky, but mainly orangy fruity. Very nice, but a tad much bitterness for it to score really highly.

murky gold, wispy white head, considerable lacing and constant wisp. Heavy grass and soap, light white pepper and melon sweetness lingering. Flavor of more melon, citrus, and light rind, biscuit and dry grass bitterness through the controlled, delicate finish. Bit plasticy but otherwise another fantastic HF beer.

75cl bottle, thanks ygtbsm94. Small white head atop cloudy golden body. Aroma is moderately sweet, herbal, oak/Chardonnay, some honey. Taste is medium sweet, herbal, dandelion, some oak/Chardonnay, honey. Light-medium body, light acidity, low carbonation.

750ml bottle shared by ygtbsm94: Pours a mostly clear bright golden with a clumpy-lacing froth of white head. Has a semi-sweet biscuity malty nose with some citrus hop character and slightly oaky complexity. Starts with good fullness and carbonation with a clean light malty sweetness and good herbal spice and citric hop balance before a drier bittersweet, slightly vinous finish. Smooth and complex.

Thanks to Starr for sharing this bottle. Served in a tulip. Pours a clear yellow-golden color with a good white head and some nice lacing. The nose has really nice wine notes, especially while it was cold. As it warms, there’s more dandelion coking from the Vera Mae. Flavor has good wine notes and wheat i’m the background. Light spice. Light body and a really dry finish. Mild oak. Excellent as always.

Pale yellow pour, mostly clear. White head. Wonderful aroma, spices, coriander, meyer lemon, yeast, dusty dank aromas. Flavor is really freaking great! Lightly tart, spices, earthy, leaves, yeast...this is really good stuff. Awesome.

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2013 750ml bottle. Big thanks to Wallace for passing these along to me... Pours a champagne-like golden orange hue, mostly transparent perhaps a touch hazy, and topped with a thin to medium soapy white head that reduces down to a wispy nature... Grapefruit bretty and citrus nose that added touches of hay and grass. A touch of aspirin provides some additional texture. Nice synergy with some added must and earth that lingers on the backend... Flavors follow suit with grapefruity brett, semi-sweet citrus aspects that finishes with an earthy bitterness. Lightly tart yet gently sweet throughout. A bit of bitter grassiness exudes at the finish. Soft pillowy mouthfeel with a light to medium level carbonation. Nicely executed with subtle barrel notes that help accentuate, not overwhelm the beer. Tasted again on 6/2/2013... A lot more sunflower and earthy. Very lightly tart and more of that Vera Mae influence.
