Civil Disobedience, our non-violent protest against the homogenization of flavor, comes in the form of a spontaneous, circumstantial, and unpredictable series of beer releases. We relinquish control in favor of an anarchistic collaboration of microbial activity. This is the expression of our conscience, our opposition to oppression, and an act of creative freedom.

Bottle shared by Kan. Thanks! Pours a deep brown with an offwhite head. Nose is somewhat tart, fruity notes. Some apple and citrus, white pepper and earthy malt. Rye bread. On tasting, it comes off as somewhat generic overall. Dark malt comes through, moderate acidic tartness as well. Clean overall but the dark malts seem to obstruct this from really coming together. Still looking for a solid dark saison.

Thanks to Adam for this bottle...black in color, lively carbination, dark brown fluffy head. Lot’s of lacing left on the glass. Aroma is wonderful, banana’s, oak, leather, dough, cereal. Creamy mouthful, medium body. Taste is a bit tart, sour, doughy, some malts, smokey, and tingy. Stays with the palate for a while, while the sourness really comes through. No detection of alcohol. Very interesting beer.

750ml bottle. Much thanks to Wally for this... Pours a deeper cola hue with lesser intense edges, revealing more reddish brown undertones, and topped with a fluffy pillowy light beige head... Light pillowy fluffiness that exhibits with cocoa, Brett, light roast and a mild tartness. Cocoa and Brett predominantly with a light degree if smoke... Little smoke and roasty undertones upfront to pair up with a more dominantly tart saison stylistically. Light fluffy bodied with semi-lively carbonation. Pillowy and lighter bodied it seems. Enjoyed this moreso than originally had back in September. Light mostly tart saison with a dark malty presence.

75 cl bottle. Black pour with a small brown head. Aroma is citrusy brett notes, hops, a herbal estery note, pretty farmhousey. A slight toasted malt presence with a hint og liquorice, but over-all pretty yeast and brett forward. This tastes awesome! Funky brett and farmhouse yeast up front, the brett makes it very dry and citrusy. A hint of chocolate and liquorice with a lightly bitter and very funky finish. Awesome!

Black pour, white head with lots of lacing. Aroma of cherries, roasted malt, so much oak, winey. Taste is sour, tons of oak, charred wood, slightly smokey. Palate is dry, good carb, long lingering finish.

Bottle from hbmason...thanks Tim! Pours black with a thin light tan head. Nose is like a lightly sour stout, a touch of vinegar with a chocolately malt base. Taste has a bit of vinegar, medium roast, baking spice, and a long medium tart finish with citrus rind. Smooth and medium bodied with ample carbonation.
