Bottle (375 ml). Small gusher. Hazy yellow/golden with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma is of citrus, honey, white wine and floral notes. Taste is winey with a slight sourness, some honey and a good amount of citrus. Mouthfeel is moderately dry and winey. One of the most "thirst quenching" beer I’ve tasted so far. Too bad they only do "375 ml" of this one... a 2 L would be perfect a on hot summer day!

Bottle, shared by Tom et al. Hazy yello pour, small white head. Aroma is citrusy, lemon, light rustic/farmhouse, light floral (hibiscus) notes, honey. Taste is quite citric, lemony, white wine finish. Palate is fizzy, really dry. Great stuff.

Bottle at home, all by myself. Pour is slightly hazy golden in appearance with a bright white head and decen lacing. Bright citrusy and floral aroma, with notes of honeycomb, band-aid, medicinal characteristics, light wood, somewhat funky, lemon verbena, and straw. Taste is lemon peel, lightly tart, spice, biscuit, herbal, funky, waxy, flowers, and wood with a crisp, dry finish. Crisp body with medium carbonation. Very bright, lightly acetic, with great balance and spice. Tasty saison and quite possibly one of my favorite HF beers. Nice!

Excellent !

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2013 Bottle shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours a hazy pale gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a nice combination of white wine and citrus hops with backing growing and light flora. Flavor has a lot of dry white wine and dry light fruit with a backing earthy grain.

375 ml. Bottle pour. Yellow color with a nice light white head. Nice well balanced tart and refreshing. Nice beer I’ve had in a while. Light citrus.

pour is pale yellow, slightly hazed, tight white head. Nose is a bit sulfuric, notes of Saison, some sweet lemon, fairly brett forward, a bit peppery and a touch of honey. Taste is a bit less Saison, honey, sweet citrus hop, strong brett, thins out in back, a touch sweaty, not as carbonated as Ann or cd 1, a bit heavier.

Gold peach pour with tight white head. Nose is barrel forward, sulfuric, citrus. Very bretty, wet sock and sweaty underwear. White wine barrel prominent on Ann is here but to a lesser degree and with more Brett and less tight integration. Acidic and tart. Nice, pleasant blonde sour blend, finding more Brett and mineral than I like, less overall integration than I hoped.

Aroma jumps out more than anything else, damn does that smell great. Yeasty farmhouse funk and lemony citrus lead the charge. Much better than the last bottle we opened a few weeks back. Recommended!

375 mL bottle shared by Starr. Thanks. Pours a hazy, pale straw gol with a thin, crisp white head. Fades to a thin collar and dots of lace. Nose of oak, grass, lemon, peach, red grape, straw and light acidity though it lacks the immediate visceral punch of some of HF’s other saisons. Flavor starts with citric acidity, grape, and grass. Reminds me a lot of how Art batch 1 tastes currently, with a little bit of Flora’s lactic and tart presence. Honestly not tasting much of Ann other than the strong doughy base to the body. Mouthfeel is medium thin, well carbonated and a strong woody and slightly acidic finish. Very balanced and crisp, but honestly let down by what were admittedly colossal, unfair expectations. Probably wouldn’t age this or trade your soul for this, but still an exceptional saison as usual from HF.
