COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Clara (1906-1969) was our grandfather’s sister; Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to her and her 13 siblings. In her honor, this Grisette is crafted from American malted barley, Vermont Organic Wheat, European and American hops, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. Unfiltered and naturally carbonated, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Clara. 4% ALC/VOL 9º P Ingredients: Pale Malt, Organic Vermont Wheat, American and European Hops, Ale Yeast, and our Well Water.

Bottle In Copenhagen, split with friends. The pour’s deep gold with a small head. The nose is brett, salty herbal funk. Mild summery fruits. The taste is more of the same. Tart pillowy brett, countryside, a bit of mineral. Moderate fruity sweetness. Soft, light body. Fine carbonation. Overall, quite drinkable stuff. Solid.

Cloudy orange with a lasting white head. The rich and complex aroma has tropical fruit, peach, melon and mango, some spices, cinnamon, vanilla, cardemum and pepper, grass and herbal notes. Sweetish fruity flavour with a tart edge. Both refreshing and complex, constantly interesting

2013-04-27. Crisp bright orange body, modest white head and lace.3+ Aroma is lightly musty, lemon peel, flavour is quite refreshing, modest sourness throughout, interesting little sour bite to it, lemon notes, whispers of wheat and dandelion? Refreshingly tart and sour. Average plus palate with moderate carbonation suits it. Nice, very refreshing. Bottle at Prohibition Pig, Waterbury.

Clara: When you say, "mobile phone", why do you point at that blue box?
The Doctor: Because it’s a surprisingly accurate description!
