COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Clara (1906-1969) was our grandfather’s sister; Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to her and her 13 siblings. In her honor, this Grisette is crafted from American malted barley, Vermont Organic Wheat, European and American hops, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. Unfiltered and naturally carbonated, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Clara. 4% ALC/VOL 9º P Ingredients: Pale Malt, Organic Vermont Wheat, American and European Hops, Ale Yeast, and our Well Water.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange golden, light sediment, 1 finger light off-white head. Aroma is yeast, sweet, light sugar, wheat, brett, light mold, citrus and orange zest, mandarin tang. Taste is very citrusy and lemonade alike. Brett, fruits, tang, tart wheat, sour peach, herbal finish and leafs. Light bodied, big taste, light dry, so smooth. Very crisp!

Bottle. Poured a slightly hazy golden orange color with a big foamy white head. Aromas of the typical HF yeast strand, funk, some cherry, and hay. Flavor had lemon, cherry, tons of grain, funk, straw, yeast, spice. Light body and a sticky texture to it. Carbonation was pretty high and the finish was smooth and easy.

Bottle, from JulienHuxley-- thanks! Shared with Parksy and Grippitis. Murky, chalky greyish yellow with a finely bubbled white head. Tart lemon peel and funky sweaty wheat, nice and rustic, light and refreshing. Tart, with a dry minerally finish.

markextrae (2756) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - NOV 24, 2015
bottle shared by a friend. poured a murky hazy dark golden to light orange colour with a nice fluffy hill farm head on top. nose has some funky influences in there, combined with your typical hill farmstead yeast. lot’s of wheats and grains in there, refreshing citrus, pale crisp malts, and some slight spice pepper yeast. clean crispy mouthfeel. but i’m getting a bit to much wheat in there. cut grass, and juicy lemon apples, mouthfeel is perfectly carbonated, with a nice crisp mouthfeel. this is just a saison, have no ideaa why this is linked to a tradionial ale

750ml bottle from the brewery. Aroma: green apples, touch of citrus and grains and pepper. App: clear pale with small white head, little retention. Taste and palate: thin body, soft carbonation, grassy, light bitter finish. Overall: well made even though not exactly my style. Quite boring style to be but well made. Nothing really stands out so good balance. Not amazing but highly drinkable.
