Draft at Highland Lodge, paired with salmon with horseradish sauce. Yum. Cloudy orange color, huge off white head, great lacing. Amazing aroma of freshly cut grass and pine needles. Taste is extremely full bodied, malty, bready, with a bitter pine finish. Wow, is this really a pale ale? Wow.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle sample shared by alexsdad06. Poured cloudy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy complex citrus hop aroma. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Very good brew that exceeded my expectations.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A: This one is much like all other hoppy Hill Farmstead beers: a murky orange color with a white head.
S: A very nice citrus aroma to this one. Plenty of grapefruit and tangerine with a mild tropical fruit character to it. Mild bread notes to go with it and perhaps some grass. Nice and fruity without being overly sweet.
T: Lots of tangerine, grapefruit, and pineapple flavor to this beer. A mild bitterness with some clean bread and cracker malt flavor. The amount of tropical fruit flavor really kind of creeps up on you as you continue to drink the beer.
M: The body is medium with a moderate carbonation.
D: Maybe not as good as Abner, but the lower ABV and full flavor really make this easy to drink.
