Lightly cloudy gold pour, white head. Delicious piney hips up front then lead into a citrus zest flavor with a slight backbone of malt. As usually, supremely drinkable.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2015 Enjoyed this one a good bit. Nice citrus notes, light bodied and crisp, with some additional grass and tropical things going on. Had after Harlan, and it didn’t live up to that amazing beer. But very nice nonetheless. Had side by side with Excursions 3, and this was far superior.

750 shared by Tom, thanks!. Lower carbonation, but still has some life. Lots of citrus and floral aroma of hops. Flavor is bitter hops, dry and bready malt. Maybe just a hint of oxidation, but still really good and full of flavor.

Growler from trade with Pushkinwow....thanks man! Clear golden pour with minimal head. Strong citrus piney hop aroma. Taste follows, nice balance and really clean. Tastes like it lost a little carbonation but still pretty good.

Growler shared by Tom, thanks! Pours a near clear gold with a slight orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of earthy onion, earthy citrus, some tropical fruit and light grains backing. Flavor is a touch thin with earthy citrus and light onion notes backed by tropical fruits and a bit of sweet grain.

Pour out of 750 mL growler, thanks Tom! Hazy orange-yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of big orange peel, grapefruit juice, tropical mango, passion fruit notes into some biscuit, dry malts into a bit of pine. Taste was a nice mix of pine, orange, grapefruit, some slight floral hops into lots of tropical fruit with passion fruit and almost a guava note, hints of lemon, some slight biscuit just to back it up, finishing bitter. Hit the right balance of fruity and piney for me.

Draft at Pro Pig. Mostly clear yellow with lasting head. Aroma is tropical fruit, grass and a nice balance of malt. The flavor is strong amounts of fruit with mild grass and yeast. The mouth feel has a nice effervescence over the palate. Tropical fruit lingers for a good amount after the sip. Very great construction to this brew.

Growler shared by Tom - thanks! Golden orange pour with a small head. Nice citrusy aroma and taste. Smooth palate - might have lost a bit of carbonation but this is still very good.

Hazy gold pour with lacy white head. Aroma is grassy, peppery leafy hop, light dank notes, fresh cut grass, bready malty notes, maltier than most Hill Farmstead hoppy ales. Taste is lightly bitter, grassy, with nice chewy malt flavor. Palate is med-light bodied with good carbonation. Good stuff.

En fût. Couleur jaune paille légèrement voilée, mousse blanche onctueuse laissant une légère dentelle. Arôme de citron, houblon fruité, malt. Goût de houblon résineux, citron, zeste de citron, malt. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen, texture habituelle de Hill Farmstead.
