Flora pours a cloudy pale yellow. Nice fluffy white two finger head is poured. Decent retention and lacing throughout the glass. A ton bubbles shoot from the bottom of the glass. Nicely carbonated. The smell on this one is nice and delicate. Wheat of course, floral hops, lemon, orange, white grapes. Iím used to barrels doing more but itís done very little to this beer. The barrel does a little but more in the taste. The grape characteristics stick around more this time especially at the end and after taste. Itís a crisp delicate taste. Once again lemon, wheat, citrus, and some nice tartness. Not a overwhelming tartness, just a tad. Lovely taste. Mouthfeel is medium bodies, crisp, and well carbonated. Carbonation smacks the lips. Dry finish. Really did enjoy this one. Itís refreshing. The barrel doesnít do much here other than adding some grape characteristics and the wild yeast adds a slight tartness to it. Nothing overwhelming here. Just a nice balance of everything.

On draft pour 2010 vintage/. Nice yellow color. Light and clean with the right amount of funk. Did well in the barrels.

Bottle shared by Brad at Jackie Oís. Clear gold pour with a huge white head. Malty nose with notes of funk, tartness and wine. Sweet malt flavor at first, then tart fruit and wine take over before a funky finish. Very nice.

Batch 3 - Poured into some Hill Farmstead stemware. Beautiful, clear, golden body with two fingers worth of frothy white head. Lots of patchy white lacing traces the glass. Earthy wheat grains on the nose with some slight barnyard funk. Touch of lemon citrus. The flavor is filled with juicy citrus and wheat. A light, dry, sourness lingers throughout. Barreled wine character in the background. Much more flavorful than previous batches of Flora. Mouthfeel is smooth, almost slick, with spritzy carbonation. Overall, this is a really nice improvement on the original batches of Flora. An excellent Belgian-styled table beer.

Purchased at the Hill Farmstead Beer Release on February 18th. Kept in the fridge and poured into an HFS glass.

A - 1-Finger crystal clear head with cream like bubbles. The beer itself is golden to leather in appearance. Itís a very hazy beer with some nice sediment floating around.

S - Wheat is the dominant scent followed by Kiwi, Mango and lots of grapes. Iím getting really sweet green grapes.

T - In short, a carbonated Pinot Noir with wheat and bitter yeast. I love wine so this has those Pinot tastes in a very balanced way. The wheat in this beer is very apparent.

M - None of HFSís beers really take over your mouth with carbonation when you swish. This is no different. Solid mouth feel, light bodied and a pleasant white grape juice aftertaste.

O - Utterly remarkable. This beer is simply a fantastic wheat saison with the drinkability of white wine. We had this beer with baked fish and it paired very well! Delicious, drinkable, perfect.

On tap at the brewery - a pre EBF sample that Sean generously provided before it was kegged. Pale light yellow, white head. Lemon, light orange, tart and sour, some vinous notes. Tart and bretty, moderate carbonation, lemon, full body, some interesting spice and a bit of dryness on the end as well. Quite tasty.

Bottle @ Jews brews and bbqs. Canary yellow, slight haze. Aroma is predominantly lactic with lemon zest and candied lemon rind. Light on the palate with very light soft effervescence. Finishes clean, with a saltiness that adds a nice element. Its refreshing. Underwhelming overall but nice ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle thanks to MtGoat. Pours bubbly straw gold, hazy, with a thin creamy head that just sits there looking pretty. Nose has brett, pineapple and white wine grapes, floral hops and soft lemon wheat. Taste begins with light tartness and vinous quality, leading into some brett character, bread malts, soft lemon overtones, and dry light herbal bitter finish. Dry, smooth and creamy in the mouth, very easy to enjoy. Delicious, will definitely look for more.

Bottle. Pale yellow pour with a small white head. Tart citrusy nose. Light, smooth, and crisp with citrus, cereal, and light Pinot Grigio notes. Well done..
