COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Florence (1915-1967) was our grandfather’s sister, and Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to her and her 13 siblings. In her honor, this Belgian inspired Wheat ale is crafted from American malted barley, Organic Vermont wheat, European and American hops, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. It is unfiltered and naturally carbonated. Soft, cloudy, and fresh, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Florence. 5% ALC/VOL 12º P Ingredients: Pale Malt; Vermont Organic Wheat; American and European Hops; Ale Yeast, and our Well Water.

750 ml bottle sampled at RBWG. Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have lemony citrus, funk, grass, mildly spicy hops, floral notes, flavor is softer than the nose. Another solid beer from HF.

Taste is bright crisp rustic pale grains, wheat, lemon slice, white grape, subtle yeasty spice, soft malts. Finish is dry, tart crisp lemon, citrus, subtle grains, yeast. Palate is so soft. Bottle. Pours a pale cloudy blond with a thick white head. Aroma is lemony and soured wheat. Very crisp and dry. Deliciously tart, one of the showcase for wheat in a beer.

Bottle received in trade. Thank you AdamJackson. Pours very hazy vibrant yellow with a frothy and fluffy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving a small soapy trace on the glass. Smell is slightly sour, slightly fruity and slightly funky with wheat crackers, pink grapefruit juice, lemon juice, hay, dry soil, lemony yoghurt, pineapple, passionfruit, lemongrass, starfruit, barnyard and white grape juice. Taste is sour, tiny fruity and funky with crackers, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, sour milk, wood, dry soil, hay, pineapple, passionfruit, barnyard, white grapes, lemon zest and hints of mineral rich well water. Mouthfeel is soft, dry, tart and light bodied. Finish is sour and slightly funky with crackers, lemon juice, hay, dry soil, sour milk, barnyard and wood. Incredibly refreshing!

Bottle shared by AdamJackson - thanks!!! Pours cloudy pale yellow with a small white head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving decent lacing. Aroma is citric, floral, wheat, a touch of funk, lemon zest. Flavor is light sweet to start, transitioning to medium tartness, zesty with a bit of funk going on as well. Lemon peel. Fruity and aromatic almost perfumy floral body. Light body, medium carbonation, soft mouthfeel. Highly drinkable. I would love to have this as my regular table beer.

Pours a light golden with a really thin white head that leaves only the smallest lacing. Nose is floral and perfumey, really nice. Taste is tart and carries flavors of citrus and various tropical fruits. Mouthfeel is juicy, carbonation really high. This is highly quaffable and really refreshing. Really nice!
