COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Florence (1915-1967) was our grandfatherís sister, and Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to her and her 13 siblings. In her honor, this Belgian inspired Wheat ale is crafted from American malted barley, Organic Vermont wheat, European and American hops, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. It is unfiltered and naturally carbonated. Soft, cloudy, and fresh, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Florence. 5% ALC/VOL 12ļ P Ingredients: Pale Malt; Vermont Organic Wheat; American and European Hops; Ale Yeast, and our Well Water.

750 ml bottle shared by Huhzubendah, thanks Matt. Pours a hazy translucent golden white color with lasting white head that leaves no lacing. Aroma is saison yeast, wheat and malt with a mild barnyard citrus character. Flavor is same with sweet malt and funky yeast aspects. Medium bodied, bright carbonation, tangy funk wheat finish. Delicious.

Bottle, thanks to tom10101 for this! Bright clear yellow colour with plenty of lively white head. Aroma is big citrus notes, mild funk, and white grapes. Taste is lemon, light funk, with a crisp dry finish. Tart and refreshing, loads of flavor, this absolutely delicious

Bottle at "Nog-een-half-jaar-tot-de-volgende-EBT"- light clouded blond beer, small unstable white head. NOSE: wheat, grains, little sour, fruity. TASTE: fruity, grains, wheat, little sour, very nice.

Medium white head over beer looking as freshly pressed lemonjuice. Smells a bit like lemonjuice too; lactic acid. Berliner Weisse? Sour ale, lemony, indeed, for all the world like a (stronger) Berliner Weisse: very dry, dry-out effect, astringent, light body with a reasonably spritzy feel: typical (Imperial?) Berliner Weisse. Maybe this wasnít the intention, but it provides for a nice twist on the classical Kindl/Schultheiss...

Bottle, shared by Ben - thanks! Pours Hazy gold/yellow with some frothy head. Aroma: bubblegum, mineral, pineapple juice/citrus. Taste: tart; wheaty. Palate: slick texture, soft on the mouth but feels a bit thin. Overall: this is nice. Iím a little irritated I didnít rate this sooner when the memory was fresher, because these notes (transcribed nearly word for word) kind of suck. Iíll do better next time?

Pours thick unclear zesty lemon with a nice bubbly white head. Aroma is awesome with some pleasant sweet and floral funk so balanced in the nose. Flavor is still delicious as well with pleasant floral saison yeast so balanced on the tongue and going down so smoothly.

Bottle thanks to tectactoe for sharing. Cloudy yellow-orange pour with a small head that fades to a thin film. Aroma is surprisingly hoppy. Tons of citrus and flowers with hints of musty yeast, wheat, and light brett barnyard. Tastes fairly dry and bitter but that doesnít mean itís not delicious. Lemon peel, orange peel, flowers, leather, wheat, and some prickly yeast in the finish. Light to medium body. I love saisons from Hill Farmstead.

Bottle from unknown. Pours a pale straw color, lots of fluffy head, which dissipates quickly. Aroma grain-forward, but with some funky, earthy undertones, some lacto. Body full and fluffy, with a tart, juicy finish, perhaps a bit of copper as well. Not at all what I expected, but very nice.
