COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An IPA brewed here at Hill Farmstead during a week long visit (reunion) with our great friend Luc "Bim" Lafontaine during his brief return from Japan. This is an IPA brewed with citrus. We hope to visit Luc in Japan and brew the next beer in the series... Note: This beer is not to be confused with its predecessor "Friendship and Farewell" brewed, with Luc, at Dieu Du Ciel in 2012.

Tap at hill farmstead third anniversary party. Big fresh juicy lemon citrus and fresh oranges. Dry grass and biscuit malts. Refreshing.

Bottle [750ml] shared with HogTownHarry and GregClow. Pours a cloudy pale gold with a large lasting foamy white head and some lacing on the glass. Aroma: Wow, there’s not much you can do to improve this aroma! Tons and tons of citrus hops along with some herbal notes. Flavour is so refreshing and tasty, with tons of hops and citrus -- it’s all hops really and I love it. Long bitter finish. Medium bodied. A superb IPA.

750ml swing-top growler shared with blankboy and GregClow, via JerCraigs. Hazy light gold, huge fluffy white lasting head. Incredibly dry aroma - grapefruit zest, floral bitterness, background ripe tropical fruit. Taste - oh yeah, that’s the stuff - almost delicate balance of light pinapple/papaya, citrus (grapefruit? lemon? orange) zest and alcohol - light up-front, packs a bitter wallop in the tail. Average body, very astringent, long, long building dry acidic bitter finish. Great stuff. More!!!!

Draft at Torst in Brooklyn. Hazy deep yellow, white head. Big fruity funk, grapefruit with orange. Sparkling fruit, dry funk, cheese rind. grapefruit tartness. Fantastic

750mL growler, pours a cloudy opaque golden with a small white head. Aroma is a classic Hill Farmstead nose, with citrus hops, floral notes, and crisp biscuity malts - extremely aromatic as usual from HF’s hoppy beers. Flavour is very dry, full of grassy hops, a little citrus zest, and a bit of floral notes, all held together by some nice crisp biscuity malt. Leaves a fairly high dry floral hop astringency on the finish. Extremely high drinkable and really well-balanced. Another great IPA from the masters.

Draft at Cambridge.... Cloudy orange color... Nice nose... grassy. Taste is a grassy bitterness. Light fruit notes along with some citrus. Body is bubbly and light. Easy to drink. Nice IPA

Pours quite hazy golden with a decent white head. Aroma brings citrus and hops well blended and pleasant, would love even more. Flavor brings some oranges and light zestiness from the fruit and hops. It is really juicy and refreshing as well.

Swingtop growler - thanks Del! Pours hazy yellow-orange with a medium creamy white head that slowly dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, pine resin. Flavor is about the same, citrusy, fruity, a bit of lemon zest, just a touch of malt sweetness, and a touch of rye-like spiciness. Light bitterness lingering to the far finish. Light bodied, nice prickly carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Quite yummy for my first Hill Farmstead beer.

Growler thanks to Seth. Cloudy pale yellow pour with a white head. Citrus and florally hop aromas. Very good mouthfeel. A large citrus and florally hop presence, but still not overly bitter. Perfect balance. Another solid IPA from HF.

From 750 ml growler on April 27th. Hazy gold pour with thin white head. Typical Hill Farmstead know-how, great balance of resinous piney hops and lots of citrus to pair, smells fresh and refreshing. Very crisp flavor, lots of citrus, balanced bitterness. Palate is maybe the weak point, a bit oily/soapy, feels stronger than 6%. Still very enjoyable.
