Draft at Black Back Pub. Pours a mostly clear light golden color with an off white head. Aroma is a complex hop profile, piney, fruity, spicy, delicious. Flavor is mildly bitter, with a nice piney, grassy hop character. Very nice.

Bottle courtesy of Kermis. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is big zesty tropical citrus, light cream. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a big fresh citrus, light yeast, big woody hop bitter palate and a frothy mouthfeel. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a lingering bitter finish.

On tap at Farmhouse Grill in Burlington. Hazy golden yellow, small white head. Aroma of pine, spice, tropical fruits. Medium body. No alcohol, light carbonation. Flavor is bitter in the best way, herbal/spice, some citrusy/grapefruit in the background, some yeast. Complex in the way of a good wine. Great stuff.

Growler filled 7 days ago, I know, travesty. Honestly though, it shows. Much more pine dominant than expected, some lingering hints of mango. Bitter, strong malt body, honey, light biscuits. Slightly oily, more than expected from a typical Hill beer. Clear golden, white head. Medium body, long finish. All told, good. Would certainly be better fresher.

Juicy mango, honeydew, citrus rind, intense grass, floral/nectar, crackery malt sweetness. Moderately bitter, dry finish.

750ml 3 days old growler from the brewery. Aroma: loads of citrus including lots of limes and tangerines. Also quite floral and even peppery. App: hazy pale / golden, small white head with lacing. Taste and palate: in mouth it’s more floral and grassy. Medium body, resinous, light sweetness, on the edge of being watery, moderate clean bitter finish. Overall: maybe my 3 days old growler losts some of its aroma and flavour but found it just ok. Mouthfeel isn’t really special. Maybe I found it to be too clean? I’m not sure but it didn’t bring me that joy that I usually have when drinking HF
