750ml swing-top growler shared with blankboy and GregClow, via JerCraigs. Light hazy yellow-gold with a large rocky white head. Dry, zesty, mildly fruity aroma, a bit of alcohol (almost 8). Taste - more APA, but wonderful - mid-level light grain, floral bitterness, solid overripe fruit, alcohol - building bitterness, a little oniony. Body on the light side, astringent, moderately carbonated, longish bitter finish that doesn’t quite hit "wow" levels - damned drinkable.

Tasted from draft. Pours a hazy pale straw yellow with fluffy white head. Good lacing. Aroma is lemon zest, citrus fruit, and pine. Taste is incredibly balanced with moderate bitterness and great malt backbone. Very creamy and silky mouthfeel. Flavors of lemon, grapefruit, grasses, and a good amount of pine. Some cracker and biscuit malt flavors as well. Incredible IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy apple cider color, no head. Fresh cut grass and citrus nose. Not the most exciting of ipas, but also not overly hopped. Palate could have been a bit cleaner and crisp in my opinion.

On tap at abbye in Worcester. Very similar to Susan, but this tilted more towards the bitter and piney side of the iPA spectrum. Not a huge fan, like I was of Susan. Decent and worth a drink but not a great IPA.

Pours hazy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, pine, grape and hop pellets. Taste is medium sweet and medium to heavy bitter with a long slightly dry, piney, citrus and grape finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Backback Pub. Pours super murky dusty yellow with a creamy white head that sticks around on top. Aroma is pineapple juice, hint of pine, grass, smooth sweeth malts, citrus fruits. Flavor follows with a huge hit of pineapple citrus goodness, lightly sweet malts backing this up, and just finishing as clean as can be. Medium bodied, slightly creamy, just perfect. One of the best IPAs I have ever had. Absolutely outstanding.

Pours a light golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, hops and resin. Tastes of citrus, pine, resin and malt. Bitter finish.

Draft at Mad Taco. Very attractive opaque light gold pour. A complex IPA - I tasted yeast, orange peel. a little white wine. Good.

Draft at Worthy Burger. Pours cloudy pale orange with an inch of head. Aroma is soft tropical fruit, orange peel, mango, aromatic pine. Taste is resinous and piney mingling with citrus and some tropical fruit, more bitter and less nectary than some other HF hoppy beers. Slightly papery finish. Good but not my favorite from the farmstead.

This poured a darker golden color with a white head. Aroma was of resinous and citrusy hops. Flavor similar, clean and juicy but a bit more bitter than other hill farmsteads I like better.

Growler shared thanks to scotchzi! Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with fluffy white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma and taste of nice citrus and pine resinous hops with a nice malt balance. Nothing is overt the top, subtle yet still in your face with fresh flavor. Really nice IPA.
