750ml swing-top growler shared with blankboy and GregClow, via JerCraigs. Light hazy yellow-gold with a large rocky white head. Dry, zesty, mildly fruity aroma, a bit of alcohol (almost 8). Taste - more APA, but wonderful - mid-level light grain, floral bitterness, solid overripe fruit, alcohol - building bitterness, a little oniony. Body on the light side, astringent, moderately carbonated, longish bitter finish that doesn’t quite hit "wow" levels - damned drinkable.

Shared by a friend. Opaque yellow pour with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus, pine and spicy hop. Pine and malt flavor with a bit of onion before a citrus finish.

Bottle sample shared by Vasilios before he departed our fair ’hood and Laurelwood, to head on to more brewing grandeur at Hill Farmstead. I will miss your fabulous zymurgistic skills at Laurelwood, Vasilios, and I wish you well! Colour...incredibly hazy, gold with a thick white head. Nose...crisp, dusty hops with citrus zest and hints of balsam needles. Palate...delightfully bright and opulent with a dandy effervescence and plenty of earthy, kiwi scented hops. Pineapple skins and spritzes of peach juice round out the delightfully dry finish.

Sample at Jackie O’s during the 9th Anniversary Extravaganza on 12/05/14. The beer pours a murky yellow-gold color with a medium white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of piney hops, citrus, melon and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Solid IPA all around.

On tap in Burlington. Pours a light orange with white head. Aroma of citrus and dank hops. Taste is light, danky, almost a hint of sweetness. Really like this beer. Really dry in the finish, and bitterness lingers, but cleanses in the end. Yummy

Has a slight citrus aroma with orange, hazy color and a minimal head. The citrusy, hoppy taste is lightly sour with medium body and a quick, bitter, finish. Overall...if it’s Hill Farmstead, it’s got to be good!

The brilliant golden glow a dandelion field, topped with fine-bubbled white and clouded fully through. Shallot, white onion and garlic scape compose the prickly surface of the deep, stinging and oily citrus aroma; the peppery adhesive of dandelion flowers and stems brings back strong pungency in the back end.

White pepper and stone fruits integrate with these forest floor and soil like notes. It is must and musk heavy and zinging with acidity at the same time. Lemon rind, black pepper, ground fine rosemary and oregano; super pungent.

As with many an effort from this brewery, the unimpeachably balanced texture is what sets it apart; when the acidic pungency threatens to overwhelm, the mid palate leans calmly away, into a slow-whisking, dry and subtle finish.
