4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a 750ml growler into a HF taster. Pours a opaque orange yellow with a small white head. Smells of earthy citrus, hay, and pretty much like the rest of Shawnís beers. Taste is crisp and clean citrus and a super dry finish.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Great tropical/citrus/ piney hop aroma. Flavor is the same hops with just enough malt to balance but still he light enough to be easy drinking. This is really awesome. So much hop flavor and it almost tastes oily with how fresh the hops are. Very nice. Similar to Edward from what I remember.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Similar to Edward, but with more malt sweetness and a stronger hop profile. Malt hits you straight away and then lingers, and a strong grapefruit hop taste follows through. Overall -- another in a long line of great HF hoppy beers.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thanks to Drake for making it possible to sample this well done IPA. Iím not sure that it was quite great enough to hunt down more Hill Farmstead but it does mean that Iíll definitely stop by should I ever be in the neighborhood. Donít pass up a chance to sample this one.
Aroma / Appearance - A clear rose gold body soaks up the light with a delicate head. Tropical fruits - mango, lemon, and citrus - surge with a laser like focus. A creamy glue holds it all together.
Flavor / Palate - The moderate bitterness will not melt your face off but does catch your attention. Supple hops, pine, and then a blooming floral bouquet hit the senses and then hang around like a fog. A top notch IPA would have been nice to savor if I didnít have other places to be.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Hill Farmstead. Itís an unclear, yellow colored beer topped by a creamy, off-white head leaving som lacing. Loads of pine cones in the aroma, with resins and grapefruit. Some pale malts. Itís bitter in the mouth, dry, soft and full-bodied, with a nice carbonation. Resins, grapefruit, pine cones and a pleasant malty touch in the back. Lasting bitter and grapefruity finish. A nice beer indeed, although a bit one dimensional. 150610

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours hazy light orange with a two finger white head with excellent lacing. Aroma is of fresh citrus, tropical fruits, pine, dank hops, melon, strawberries, fresh cut grass, herbal notes, and light bready malts. Taste is freshly squeezed citrus, pine, juicy tropical fruits (mango, pineapple, and kiwi), strawberries, grassy hops, melon, and light bready malts. Has a medium body with a super cream mouthfeel and a semi dry, moderately bitter, long, lingering finish. Overall, a fantastic, worldclass IPA that only reaffirms my believe that Hill Farmstead is indeed the best brewery in the world.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft (Tria Taproom, Philly). Head is initially average sized, creamy/frothy, white, fully lasting (looks like nitro). Body is cloudy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (kiwi, melon, flowers, green banana). Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Pretty nice hop nose on this, very tropical fruity if a bit candyish (Now & Later, for example). Nice appearance too but fairly sour (fruit juice sour) and watery, so not as much fun to actually drink. Ok overall.
