On tap at CBC 2012. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Smokey-malty aroma. Strarts strong-malty, scratchy-woody, hints of liquorice. Finish softer malty, modest spicy. Some mild sourish hints. Quite drinkable for a beer of this strength.

Bottle @ Mikkeller & Friends. Dark color, medium brown head. Aroma of coffee and chocolat with a fruity blanket of citrus and orange on top. Big maltiness in taste where bitter and sweet are in perfect harmony, again with fruity tones from the oranges. Lovely balance, awesome beer.

Chopp. Pitch Black colour, small creamy light brown head. Pleasantly sweet very well roasted maltiness in the aroma with lots of chocolate along with fruit (!) and coffee too. Good filling mouthfeel indeed. Sweet very well roasted maltiness with chocolate and coffee, and dark fruits, licorice in the flavour. Great well lasting bitterness. So very well balanced indeed a brew. Just so tasty!
