750 mL growler (Thanks Tucker!) served in a stemmed Stillwater wine glass. Looks like a HF pale ale, blah blah blah. Hazed honey golden color with a thin off white head that fades to a thin film and spotty lacing. Aroma has light bready malt with mild lemon sweetness and floral hops. Flavor is sharp and pleasantly bitter. Chewy medium thick body with prickly fine carbonation. Initially citrus sweet before finish floral, earthy and citrus rind. A well made pale ale as usual from HF, and an interesting new hop to try. I agree with Jeff who said Motueka might be a nice addition to a saison but for a single hop pale it’s not quite cutting it for me.

750mL growler shared by Thorpe429. Thanks Mike! The beer is an extremely hazy yellow hue with a tiny head. The aroma is of fresh, dank hops, floral notes, and citrus, particularly grapefruit. Malt presence is minimal, with some very nice citrus flavor. The body is pretty thin, and this beer is highly drinkable. I didn’t enjoy this beer nearly as much as the Galaxy Imperial Single Hop IPA we had next to it, but it’s a fine beer nonetheless. I would definitely have this again. Growler from J&J...Hazy light golden pour , medium fluffy white head , good lacing . Hoppy ,floral aroma , dank , and some grass . Malt sweetness upfront gives way to a herbal hop bitterness . weed , grassy ,some resin . Medium bodied , lingering grassy hop bitterness . This hop is very unique and hard to pin down , but good .

pours a golden color that is slightly cloudy with a medium head that hold up for a minute. clinging lacing (clean HFS globe). smells like honey dew mellon and citrus light gristy candied malt in the background. taste begins with a potent citrus that mellows to mellon. clean malt with a light gristy touch. there’s a sweet note but the beer is dry. medium bitterness that lingers. medium to light body with moderate carbonation. the hop flavors are spectacular.

Pour from a 750 ml. growler revealed a light golden beer with a thin soapy white head. Aromas were exceptional with pine, earthiness, and citrus. Lighter in body but pleasant on your palate. Simple flavors of light hops with just a touch of lemony sweetness. Nice balanced finish and very easy to drink. Really good clean straight forward beer.

On tap at the Blind Tiger. Pours a hazed golden amber with a medium to large white head. Sweet citrus, caramel and malt on the nose. Medium bodied, sweet grapefruit, tropical fruit and lots of malt. Smoot malt, long caramel, a touch of sweetness, malty and smooth. Super sessionable.

Pours cloudy lemon thick with a light orange hue. The aroma comes through with sweet velvety hops. The flavor gives unique bitter and sweet hops balanced to perfection on a thicker pale ale body than normal which I am loving. The New Zealand hops are delicious.
