3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz at Blackback Waterbury.
Appearance : Hazy amber with medium foamy and creamy white head. Lots of lacing.
Aroma : Light passion fruits with light peppery notes. A bit floral too. Rather mellow.
Taste : Nice malt with floral and fruity notes. A bit herbal with pepery finish. Moderate bitterness. Light notes of black tea comes out after a while. Very soft carbonation, maybe a little bit too soft for my taste.
Overall : New hop for me. Interesting peppery notes with light herbal/floral/fruity notes. Awesome looking as usual. Always fun to try a new hops. This one seems to be a bit mellow but rather well balanced.

On draft. Dark orangish color. Light white head. Refreshing but a hair too sweet for a pale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Phone rate. Draught at Blackback in Waterbury. Hazy yellow golden, one finger white head, good retention. Lots of tropical fruit, though my least favorite of the NZ hops thus far.a little sweet and malty for me. Flavor follows, slightly less sweet, still not as dry as I’d like. Medium body light to mod carbonation. Not my fave.
