3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Growler thanks to Leighton. It pours hazy golden-orange with a medium white head. The nose is soft, juicy, orange, tangerine, passion fruit, light soap and sherbet. The taste is crisp, juicy, orange peel, light booze, mango, peach, grapefruit, candied peel, sherbet and earth with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation foamy mouth-feel. Juicy and fruity. Nice.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Courtesy of the man, the myth, the legend... Leighton. Pours a beautiful bright golden orange (the looks are legendary), fluffy white head. Aroma is tangerine, citrus, grapefruit, grass, funky pithy citrus mold, melon, faint pine. Flavor is light and fruity, pale bready malt backbone - completely masks the ABV, no sign of alcohol just deliciousness. Fairly light body, finish of the beer is not very full.. Actually a little dry. Overall, high end stuff.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Growler poured into teku glass. Hazy goldenrod color with thick white head that leaves nice laceing. Aroma is mandarin oranges, grapefruit rind, light lemon and cheesiness. Taste is dry and sharply bitter finish. Flavor comes off like citrus fruit salad and citrus zest. Great beer. Oh how I missed fresh hf pales.

Growler... Hazy yellow pour with a small, creamy, white head. The aroma offers a melding of grapefruit, passionfruit and spicy, peppery hops. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and vibrant carbonation. Excellent bitterness and breadiness in the flavor - rindy, tannic hops upheld by a fragile, cracker malt foundation. Crisp, bitter finish. Bottle courtesy of the one and only, ever-generous landhoney!

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at HF, growler shared by Starr, thanks.
Pours a dark hazed golden orange with a dense white head with sticky lacing. Sweet throughout, over ripe pineapple and mango with a pine and grass bitter finish. Not my favorite of the SS series.

750 ml flip top on a couple occasions. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have grapefruit citrus, some tropical notes and big catty hops (especially in the nose). The flavor shows much more balance with the malts standing up to the grapefruit, earthy and catty hops. Solid bitterness to the finish. Another solid beer from HF.

750 growler pour shared by alexsdad06. Light golden. Nose pine mango fruit hop. Taste grapefruit bite up front. Floral hop and some fruit hop. Mid palate sweet and very pleasing bitter finish. Really nice, exceptionally clean flavors.

Strong aroma - but not as strong as other DIPA. Sweet and and smooth with grassy flavor. Caramel and malt flavor, very rich and full body with a semi dry bitter finish. Not a huge fan of the style but that was perfect.

2L growler served in a HF becher glass. Huge thanks to kevanb for the share.
A: Pours a semi-clear golden yellow color with a nice one finger thick white head forming on the pour. It recedes to a thick cap that leaves sticky sheets of lace down the glass.
S: Sweet malts with a nice grassy undertone. Nice berry bit with a tropical fruitiness to it.
T: Wow, what a fruit explosion. Just simcoe and amarillo? Tons of mango, pear and lemon peel with a light grassy bitterness. Biscuit malt sweetness to round it all out. Really nice.
M: Light bodied with a nice, medium carbonation level. Sweet and fruity finish.
O: Super fruity and delicious. I really enjoyed this one and being a big fan of Amarillo really put this one in my wheelhouse.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from 750 growler @ Ale Alpharetta. Golden pour with medium white head that appeared to lose a bit of carb from the growler fill. Big citrus hops with a minimal malt backing. Taste was 80/20 hops to malt in the form of citrus, pine. Damn good. We had another double ipa after this that just tasted like a malt bomb. All glorious hops with just the right amount of sweet malt backing. Really nice oily body.
