2012 bottle from Ernesto, thanks!! Pours a SUPER light hazy yellow. Big head that blasted out and sprayed the crap out of my kitchen. Aroma is lemon, grass, orange zest, dandelion and some sour notes. Taste is barrel, lemon zest, cheese rind, slight funk and a slightly above mild sourness. Overall, this was incredible in terms of the style. I’d drink this every hot day for sure. The dandelions are incredible here.

Yeasty, effervescent, sour citrus aroma. Moves perfectly onto the palate, imparting barnyard funk and tart yeast at every turn. Pretty darn sour for a saison, as all saisons should be IMO. Stellar. Easily my favorite HF saison.

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2013 Bottle shared by Bill and Tim at Alens tasting. Pours a hazy golden shade with nice head and lacing. Notes were apples, citrus, spice, lemons, dandelion, grass, and light honey. Smaller notes of black tea and pepper. Finishes crisp but very refreshing. Awesome saison. Re rate 2013 bottle, crisp lemons, complex brett, sea shells, earth, and tart funk. Amazing

750 ml bottle shared by b3shine. Pours a hazy golden yellow color with a big fluffy white head that left considerable lacing. The aroma was grassy, floral, light funk, light citrus, pale malts and some honey sweetness. The flavor had more grassy notes, floral, light citrus, mild funk, herbal leaving moderate bitterness to the finish. I had Arthur before this one and enjoy it every bit as much, but in a different way.

Bottle thanks to mikem409: Poured a carbonated golden with a fluffy pillow white head. Aroma is light hay, honey, floral and reminds me of a chicken coop. Taste is a soured forward floral with a nice hint of sweetness in the finish.

2012 batch on draft at Harvest Festival. Served in a... HF glass (shocking). Reviewed the first batch from the bottle previously, but this year’s was distinct enough to merit a new entry in my opinion. Poured a chalky, hazed golden color with a frothy white head; excellent retention and ample lace. Floral and nectary nose of honey, clover, dandelion and grass. Flavor is similar, dominated by the floral and lemon flavors with an ample tart and light pepper finish. Dry medium body with high carbonation and a crisp finish. I want more of this beer always.

Bottle... This beer rocks!… Cloudy straw-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The bouquet is yeasty, fruity and vinous - bread dough, an entire groveof various tropical fruits and a whisper of white wine. Medium-bodied with a 2%-milk mouthfeel and Key West carbonation. The flavor is tart and lemony, and very reminiscent of a gose. Think Fantôme Pissenlit, but with a suggestion of salt. Finishes crisp, mildly tart, and there’s that rumor of salt again to finish things off. Bottle shared by newcigarz and I dug it!
