1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Had a couple bottles of this at The Parthenon Restaurant in Chicago. Pale yellow color. Very grainy and somewhat sweet flavor. Very typical pale lager, but now I can say that Iíve had a Greek beer.

1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured pale gold with a modest head, no lacing.
Aroma is a bit corny.
Taste is slight sweet malt with just a touch of hop bitterness. A clean refreshing copy of American macro lager. A little less carbonation than them.
A pretty good beer to order next time you are in Greece. Just donít expect too much. Code date is 12/13/07.

clear pale yellow, small quickly dissipating head, medium lacing. nose of airy corn. grainy flavor, light bitterness, not offensive, but mostly corny. light bodied, dry finish with slightest bitter aftertaste. not bad. thanks to cornfield for the bottle.

12oz bottle pours clear golden with large white head. Aroma of malt and grass. Taste starts out rather nicely with malts, grains and caramel but on an offensive mineral bitterness. Pretty good with Avgolemono Chicken Soup.

I hadnít really intended on this being my 1500 entry but I needed a beer and was at Artopolis in Greek town and had this yet. A meh, euro macro lager more on the sweet side ala Heineken. Not great but not offensive maybe a little too grainy. On the plus side the staff at Artopolis was well proportioned. Serving: Bottle

Looks nice enough, light gold with a frothy white head, but the other raters have nailed it. Thereís nothing to this beer. Almost no scent, no taste... merely suggestions of malt and corn in both. Iíd still drink this before most of the BMCs, ícause at least itís not offensive.

12 oz bottle at Pegasus Cafe in Rancho Bernarno. Light in color and aroma. Not much in the flavor department either. Some light citrus but mostly malt and adjuct flavor. Another attempt to make Americans happy.

Hillas from Greece, ..... 6 overall, ..... yep thatís the one. Got a bottle of this at The Greek Islands, Chicago. The waiter told me, its like Heineken. Ok whatever, Iím more in the mood for this than a heine. Straw yellow in color, clear, tiny bubbles rising to a white head. Grain aroma mixed with old. Like they probably bought 100 cases of around 2001 and theyíre still selling it. Flavor reflected the aroma. Not much really to say grain, initially sweet going to a dry grain "old pale lager taste". At least its Greek and at least my boss picked up the tab.

Also had this beer at a greek restaurant in the US. Was told it was like Heiniken but it was much lighter and had less flavor. It didnít contrast with what I was eating and was pretty innocuous. Went down light and smooth but not interesting or flavorful enough to have again

Better than expected Greek pale lager...pallid pour, decent head. low adjunct odor, moderate creamed corniness, and light caramel notes. I guess my point is that it’s blandness is actually it’s best selling point.
