Can. Cloudy amber colored in appearance with foamy tan head. In the nose, it’s mostly caramel, grapefruit, floral hops and grainy malt notes. The taste starts out with herbal hops and citrus flavors that lead to a biscuit like malt backbone with some brown sugar sweetness around the edges. The body is moderately creamy with heavy carbonation and a mildly bready, bitter finish. The overall flavor is smooth and balanced for the style with a distinct Pacific Northwest hops profile.

Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Rich balance with hops and malts. Easy drinking amber flavor. Hops are rich with citrus and a nice finish. A very good canned brew by a new brewer.

Can at the brewery. This had quite a bit of flavor for an amber -- I’m used to the style being very middle-of-the-road and bland. This wasn’t nearly so "meh." Good balance, full mouthfeel, and an amber I might actually order sometime.

16oz can. Clear orange golden color with ivory sheen. Mild but nice ganja bud, pine aromas. Light bodied. Lightly sweet grainy caramel flavors with floral, pine hops, nicely bitter finish--tasty

Pint can courtesy of BVC. The pour is hazed orange copper, with a firm two inch tan head. The head falls with some splotchy lacing. The beer is visibly un-filtered looking. The aroma is fresh malt grain, light apple fruit sweetness, touch of nut and caramel behind that. The taste is cracker malt, some pleasant grassiness and a bit of a grain harshness to the finish. The finish also has some generic hop bitterness. The finish is dry and earthy, which extenuates the bitterness further. The palate light to medium bodied, un filtered mouth feel, and the dry earthy bitter finish. Easy enough to drink. Thanks for sending this my way, Brandon!

Pint can courtesy of a trade with riversideAK. Pours a cloudy amber with a moderate off-white head that fades to a ring by the second sips and leaves light lace. Pleasant aroma of malt along with a bit of caramel. The flavor is malt and begins drying out on the palate almost immediately. The dryness continues leading to a dry finish with moderate bitterness. The bitterness lingers at the back of the throat briefly beyond the swallow. Medium bodied.

Can:   Heavy amber, thick and hazy, moderate to large frothy off-white head, very nice lacing.   Malty nose, sweet breadiness, subtle earthiness and grains.   Certainly malty, but not heavy.   Also seems a little more earthy/soily than I prefer.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Feels smooth, but its not heavy.   Mild sweet grainy finish.   Not very bright overall.   Meh, not bad but not terribly interesting either.

Browned bronze body with decent head. This one straddles the American Amber / British Bitter line. Light to medium malt backbone with a pleasantly balanced bitter hoppiness in aroma and flavor. A nice medley of hops--C-hops with perhaps some Simcoe or Ahatnum mixed in. Quite sessionable.

Pint can from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy, nay murky, amber brown with a creamy beige head. I’m getting light cat pee aroma. Med body. Almost. It is resin/citrus followed by mild roast malt. It is nearly astringent. Pretty nice stuff.
