Copper body with a decent head. Nice and easy bitter nose accented by PNW hops. Similarly the hops in the body are moderately bitter. Simple, easy drinking, bitter-forward ale.

Draft - Perfumy and a bit of sweet grapefruit. Cloudy light gol with a thin head. Earthy hops, very dry and bitter, not resinous but almost medicinal. A bit perfumy in the taste as well. Too much going on any the perfume overwhelms.

Draft at the source. Cloudy yellow orange color, white edge head. Aroma of spiced orange peel. Taste is bitter orange. Full bodied and lager-like.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a clear medium amber with no head. Mild toasty caramel nose. Watery lightish body with soft carb. Toasty caramel mid palate with mild herbal hop note. Soft finish.

Sample at the brewery taproom. Clear orange-amber pour with a medium thin bone white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of spiced hops and malt. Light-bodied and crisp with flavors of grassy hops, citrus and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with an herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
