This is the most intense saison I have ever had. The prominence of the Belgian yeast was so forward that is almost overpowered the rest of the flavor. Still worth trying. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thanks to 5000 for sending this can my way. The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is full of wheat and biscuit malt, with some Belgian yeast and white pepper notes thrown in. The flavor is a little more complex. I get some nice orange citrus notes, as well as some wheat, Belgian yeast, white pepper and biscuit malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Golden in color, hazy with a thin head. Terrific Saison flavor and from a can this was fun to drink. I was impressed they canned such a brew. Very nice beer and great for the summer ot days.

Can:   Dark straw, a bit hazy, moderate to large sudsy white head, little lacing.   Bready nose, sweet straw, some cloying melon, with a touch of medicinal floral notes.   Bready on the tongue, rich grassiness, a little bit of heat, and some floral notes that seem a bit burning.   Not a soft fragrant floral example, but one that is more akin to an American Tripel.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   If I hadn’t seen the label on the can I would have said Abbey Tripel.   Seems mis-marked to me.   A little spritzy and mealy at the finish.   Tiz okay, but not what I was expecting at all.

Pours a semi-hazy yellow-gold with a thick white head. Aroma is very strong: banana, clove, yeast, bread. Flavor is fairly intense pepper, Belgian yeast, wheat, honey, ripe banana, orange peel. Somewhat tart and bitter finish. Very flavorful, but for me the strong flavors do not come together particularly well. It is decent, however. I’ll have to try it again to know if I’d like to have it more often.

Pint can. Poured, fizzy yellow color with a nice two finger white head. Aroma was citrus, hops and bubble gum. Flavor was straw, grass and some lemon. Very little and easy. Almost too smooth. Average to a little above average at best.
