3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy gold with a creamy/foamy white head. Aromas of fruit and something barnyard. Med body. Flavor is sort of citrus/wit with a trace of barnyard. Truthfully this seems closer to something like an Imperial Wit than a saison. But arguably it fits the style. Which is irrelevant as to whether the beer is good. It is! If a case of this washed up on my desert isle, I would be overjoyed.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can... Hazy golden ale with a mid-sized, fizzy, white head. The aroma is a fruity blast of pear and tangerine, but is quite bready as well. Light to medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and tickling carbonation. The flavor is bready, fruity, lightly acidic and mildly spicy Ė apricot and clove stand out. Finishes crisp and tangy, then dries out a touch. Can courtesy of biggsbowler!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample at the brewery taproom. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a thin and fizzy white head that burns away quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt and faint hops. Light body with flavors of grainy malt, wheat and mildly bitter hops. Some fruit in the background. The finish is short with a slightly tart fruit aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500mL can, pours a completely clear pale yellow with a huge foamy white head. Nose is fairly subtle, with light notes of yeast, banana, clove and some citrus fruit. Flavour brings out grassy hops, some citrus, a little clove and of course, Belgian yeast. Fairly yeasty, grassy and citrusy - certainly not a traditional farmhouse-style ale / saison by any means. Nevertheless, light, refreshing and highly drinkable. Solid canned saison.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can:   Dark straw, a bit hazy, moderate to large sudsy white head, little lacing.   Bready nose, sweet straw, some cloying melon, with a touch of medicinal floral notes.   Bready on the tongue, rich grassiness, a little bit of heat, and some floral notes that seem a bit burning.   Not a soft fragrant floral example, but one that is more akin to an American Tripel.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   If I hadnít seen the label on the can I would have said Abbey Tripel.   Seems mis-marked to me.   A little spritzy and mealy at the finish.   Tiz okay, but not what I was expecting at all.
