1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
500ml bottle @ Mount Sherpa, Kuopio
Pours clear golden with a small head. Aroma of crisp bready notes, starch and hints of metal. Taste is smooth, metallic and starchy with hints of malts. Finish is smooth, watery and easygoing. Decent pale lager, nothing special here.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle in Kathmandu. Sweet, corny nose. Soft texture with prickly carbonation. Overriding sweetness (sugar, corn, milk). Mild, peppery, drying bitterness. Dry and vapid finish. Entirely unexciting and unflavored.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle from Monty’s in Kingston. Smooth but lacking in much character, a touch of soap and a somewhat watery palate. Fine as curry fodder.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Drank at mantra in Helsinki. Hazy golden in color. Minor vanishing lacings. The aroma is almost citric. The taste comeback to its full potential with the hot Himalayan cousine. Nice.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Stronger and rounder, but it sadly brings out the average flavours the crispness of Everest did well to hide. Tastes a bit of rice pudding, which is fine if you’re tasting rice pudding but not so with a beer. Fosters-esque.

I agree with the Swedish rater. There is nothing special about this beer, but at least there’s nothing bad about it either.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle@Rox's Bar, Kathmandu. Flat looking golden beer, with a very light head. The aroma is very lightly hopped, malty and yeasty. The flavour is gently bitter with a malty and yeasty finish. Overall a fairly basic lager.
