2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Pours rather unclear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and malt, with faint hoppy notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with estery and malty notes. Bitter, hoppy aftertaste with mild skunky notes. Definitely not the worst Pale Lager I have tasted but rather unclear and not very exciting, either.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle, 5%. Metallic aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Good stable tight chalk white head. The flavour is grainy and papery. Low bitterness with a little fruity touch in the finish. The late bitterness is more distinct, though, and a little rough.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Numerous of these while in French Polynesia. Refreshing light beer for the beach. At least packs a solid 5% ABV without tasting malty or astringent. Inoffensive but unexceptional.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Quite inoffensive in all aspects of this beer. Not overly carbonated and has little on the palate. Another easy drinker that would be ideal for a hot day at the beach. A little soapy on the texture, but does have some flavour unlike a lot of other lagers.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle 330 ml at home, poured into a stemmed glass. ABV 5%. New country tick.
Golden yellow colour on the body, two fingers of thick white head, with average retention and medium lacing on the glass.
Nice aroma, malty but refreshing, some apple juice. light cookie dough.
Taste is pretty okay, malty and sweet at first, lighty fruity, grass. Turns to a good bitter on the aftertaste, with good duration.
Medium thin body, average carbonation and nice dryness on the palate.
Overall a quite decent pale lager, pleasantly surprised.
