It’s golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of bread, malt, newly harvested grain and flower. The moderately sweet flavor has notes just like the aroma, only more intensive. The finish is sweetish and slightly dry - pleasant!

Pours gold with a creamy white head. Bready aroma. Flavor is sweet and bready with only a hint of nobility.

MoritzF (9267) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - SEP 4, 2008
(bottle) Slightly hazy, golden coloured hue with yeast-floaties and a medium-sized foamy white head. Slightly dusty, moderately sweet grainy malt aroma with notes of hay, honey and a touch of barnyard, accompanied by shy herbal hops. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; medium carbonation. Grainy malty taste, slightly chalky mouthfeel; dry, slightly bitter and a bit citrousy hoppy finish. Unspectacular brew, but also well-balanced and pretty likeable (11.07.07).

Bottle (courtesy of Quack-Duck): Golden, a bit unclear, bigger fluffy white head; spicy citrousy-hoppy and solid grainy nose; light to medium bodied, delicate sweet-bitter flavour, soft MF; citrousy-grainy finish with a light bitterness. Good and unspectacular.........

bottle, bought at the brewery. This brewery was founded in 1377. Golden yelow, large and creamy head. Malty nose. Malty flavour, spicy and hoppy in the finish. There is a flavour that reminds me of young, not yet readily fermented wine available in the wine growing regions of Southern Germany in autumn. The carbonation also reminds me of that, very fine and tiny bubbles, which makes the palate rather attractive.
