On tap at Hinterland. Poured a brilliant medium caramel with a short, well-retained cap of sticky white head.. solid dose of rising carbonation too. Aroma picked up sweet, lightly-toasted caramel with some darker fruits at the core.. dusty with a bit of detergent on the back. Flavor was of moderately sweet caramel and darker fruits again.. light floral bitter accents worked well with a light hit of citrus at the finish. Well-balanced and light-medium bodied.. mild bitterness.

On draught at the brewpub in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Pours a clear coppery amber brew with a creamy off-white head that has good retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, some fruity character with scents of apple, pear and some flowery hops. Taste is lightly carbonated, medium bodied with a smooth caramel malt and mild bitter flavor. Finish is slightly bitter with a multi-grain malt aftertaste that quickly disappears.

On tap. My friend thought it was hoppy, but to me this is as middle-of-the-road hum-ho as it gets.

Reddish copper with a medium off-white head. Aroma of heavy caramel, dark fruits, light grassy hops and a touch of chocolate. Taste is very sweet and grainy. Caramel and dark fruits prevail with a smattering of citrus and the aforementioned grains. Just a shade of bitterness. Overall, not to bad, a bit maltier than I had expected, but has more character than most ambers on the market.

Bottle. Mostly clear amber pour with a nice initial soapy head that fades quickly. Nice aroma of flowers and caramel. Medium to lighter palate, low carbonation. Taste isn’t as good as the aroma - mild caramel, low hop, low carbonation.
