Our Door County Cherry Wheat pours a golden, orange hue. The frothy two finger off-white, slightly pink-tinted head fades to leave a spotty lace. The slight aroma of cherries doesn’t over power the soft wheat smell. These flavors play wonderfully together, neither overpowering the other in taste. With a medium-light body, Cherry Wheat leaves you with a mildly tart Montmorency cherry finish.

Draft. Poured hazy orange reddish color and an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate dark cherry aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium cherry sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Refreshing soft fruit beer.

12 oz bottle-- As fruit flavored beer goes, I liked it. I only noted a slight cherry aroma on top of large, frothy head of hazy gold color. The cherry taste did not overwhelm the wheat and gave the wheat a deeper taste. Not bad at all. Total Wine.

Lightly hazed orange amber color with a moderate, fairly dense, beige head that does seem to have a lightly pink hue. Sweet and lightly acidic in the nose, with bits of wheat and cherry. More a wheat ale scent for me. Definitely Door County cherries in the flavors. Tart cherry pie comes to mind. I like it for the flavor of the cherries more than any wheat beer characters. If you like Door County cherries, you should enjoy this one. 2/10

What an awful beer. Really carbonated and cherry flavored. Sweet as well. Smells like cherry a pours reddish orange. Would not recommend ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a light amber color. No aroma to speak of. Deffinetly tasting the cherry, but that’s it. All in all would be a refreshing summer ale, but needs more of a malty backbone.

Backlog rating 10-31-2012 (Bottle) The appearance is a large very foamy off-white head, mostly transparent/slightly hazy golden body, very fizzy carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is musty, cherries and sweet. The flavor is sweet and artificial cherries. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. This beer does not have a lot of cherry characteristics and is bland tasting. This is a beer that I do not recommend and is not on my list of beers to drink again.

Meh. Poured with a nice off-white head that slowly settles, some lace, and a hazy honey amber color. Aroma is a yeasty beery, slightly cherry. Flavor’s like an average amber ale with tart cherry added.. Body is ok. Finish is ok. Probably good to cook with.

The cherry wheat I’m most familiar with is Sam Adams. It’s not bad, but this is better. I would call the taste more cherry pie than pure cherry.

This "malt beverage," as the label calls it, has a golden body with tiny bubbles rushing upwards to support a thick spongy white head. It (the label) also reads "with cherry added." Am I to believe that they squashed one cherry into my bottle? Whatever. The aroma is like a combination of bing and marischino cherries, light but fruity. The taste has a subdued cherry flavor with some bread dough and a soft cherry stem bitterness. It’s drinkable, but I don’t believe you’ll find me having another.
