COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Door County Cherry Wheat pours a golden, orange hue. The frothy two finger off-white, slightly pink-tinted head fades to leave a spotty lace. The slight aroma of cherries doesnt over power the soft wheat smell. These flavors play wonderfully together, neither overpowering the other in taste. With a medium-light body, Cherry Wheat leaves you with a mildly tart Montmorency cherry finish.

Draft. Poured hazy orange reddish color and an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate dark cherry aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium cherry sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Refreshing soft fruit beer.

Sweet, but better than the shipwrecked version. Shouldnt it be listed at Door County Cherry Wheat?

1 pt bottle. (Jungle Jims) Fairfield, OH.
Cloudy amber colour with a small frothy off-white head. Mild fruitiness and yeast in a weak aroma. Wheat, cherry and yeast in the mild flavour. Not very tasty. A bit strange.

Bottled. Poured medium golden with a very dense cap of whitish head. The aroma picked up fresh, sweeter cherries and cherry juice over toasted banana and zesty wheat.. wisps of vanilla too.. smelled refreshing. The flavor found more cherry juice (sweetened-up) and less of everything else.. just a little tartness from cherries, wheat, and lemon.. quasi-refreshing on the finish, but too much sweetness in there. Lighter-bodied with an OK feel and flow across the palate.. very approachable, but just too sweet for me.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Tap. Orange pour with a semi-frothy white head. Wheat and just a touch of fruit in the nose. Medium light palate. All cherry on taste - tastes somewhat articifial. Still good.

16oz bottle. Half - hazy orange amber color. Thin airy white head. Strong soft carbonation. Some lace. Cherry taste is there, up front. Kind of lightly tart sweet taste. Some wheat grains. Gets a bit better towards the end as the carbonation flattens a bit, but still not great. Strong carbonation and fruit is not a good combo for me

16 oz. bottle brought down from Wisconsin by my aunt-in-law. Pours a slightly red-tinted golden color with an inch-thick foamy white head that settles fairly quickly into a ring. Aroma offers cherries, wheat, pale malts, sugar, and grass. Flavor of sweet cherries, wheat, sweet malts, and dry cereal grains. Didnt quite have the balance or freshness of the aroma. Light-bodied, with a sweet, dry mouthfeel and medium-high carbonation. Not bad.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a transparent orange with off-white head that dissipates into lacing. Smells like cherries and wheat; like a milder Sam Adams. Tastes like it smells with a thin, below-average mouthfeel. Meh.
