COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Door County Cherry Wheat pours a golden, orange hue. The frothy two finger off-white, slightly pink-tinted head fades to leave a spotty lace. The slight aroma of cherries doesn’t over power the soft wheat smell. These flavors play wonderfully together, neither overpowering the other in taste. With a medium-light body, Cherry Wheat leaves you with a mildly tart Montmorency cherry finish.

On draught at the Hinterland brewery/brewpub in downtown Green Bay, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden amber colored brew with a creamy off-white head that has excellent retention and lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, some tart cherry pie filling and a touch of flowery hops. Taste is mostly cherry pie filling with a golden grain crust character, some flowery hops and a touch of tart berries. Finish is semi-sweet with flavors of multi-grain malt and a lingering tart cherry aftertaste that can really grow on you. One of the better cherry wheat ales I’ve tried.

Pour is flat and feels flat on palate. Aroma of sour cherry and wheat. Flavor is amazing! Wow, what a great fruit beer. Perfect balance of cherry and malty flavor with aftertaste that is sweet.

The cherry wheat I’m most familiar with is Sam Adams. It’s not bad, but this is better. I would call the taste more cherry pie than pure cherry.

Bottle sample at the Hinterland tasting at Blacklick Wine & Spirits on 9/20/12. Clear amber pour with a medium off-white head. Aroma of creamy wheat, honey and sweet cherry. Flavor is cherry pie filling with a slight tartness. Light hop bitterness on the finish. Very nicely done.

Best fruit beer on the market. Some serious cherry flavor but not overpowering. Good summer beer to sip on a hot day.

Pint sized bottle. Very refreshing, with a sour finish. The cherry and wheat flavors are subtle, which is great if you want a relaxing drinkable ale, but too little if you were expecting bold flavors.

Pours a rich golden color with medium-sized head. Aroma is of tart cherry, light wheat and mild hop aromas. Taste is of light cherry with wheat and a bit of toasted malt and floral hop notes.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of all foam finely sized light tan colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a softly carbonated slightly hazy yellow orange colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was malty cherry and fruity. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish which lasted a long time. The flavor contained notes of mild cherry and malt that gets stronger in the finish. Not revolting like some in this style, not bad, kinda grows on you.

Bottle. Pours to a deep amber body with a lightly-off white head. Nice lacing. The aroma is heavily floral hops, grain, dash of cherries, and wheat. The flavor has a heavy grain bill up front with some nice sweet and lightly tart cherries in the middle and finishes with a floral hop. Wheaty pie crust. Palate makes the mouth water and has a lingering cherry. Medium bodied.

Aroma of dark malting and just a hint of the cherry, actually would not know its cherry unless told, flavor of smooth dark maltsand now the fruit tang that is defintely cherry, just evident enough not to offend, gives it a nice summery drinkability despite the darker malts. pleasant
